ANAC is a fleet-management tool for ships or land-based rolling stock.

T h e A N A C s e r v i c e c a n d r a w u p a diagnosis of all mechanical assemblies (engines, reversing reduction g e a r s , h y d r a u l i c s ) b y samp l ing lubricants in service.

The analyses are carried out by an expert system which evaluates the operation of each assembly in comparison to a reference assembly of the same type. The system takes account of the various oil-change intervals and of the lubricant’s characteristics.
