2011

Dear All,

It is hard to believe that we will be celebrating the 138th InnerwickHorticultural Society Annual Flower, Vegetable & Fruit Show on Saturday,6th August 2011.

You may not be aware this is the oldest Show in the county and is still one ofthe most popular. What makes it so popular? Well, it's largely down to youand your participation and with this in mind we are very keen to encourageyou to come and join in, not just as a visitor but also as a participant in oneof the many categories to be judged on the day.

'I don't garden' I hear you cry. It is still possible to pop those four rose headsyou have been admiring into a glass. If that doesn't appeal, what about thehome baking, some of the classes even give you the recipe. With a variedCraft Section, Knitting, Embroidery, Jam Making and Photography, therereally is something for everyone. The Schools Section is always popularand the children love to put in an entry, so if you have young ones at home, give them a chance to show what they can do.

This is the year to show your hidden talents - just one item in one class willhelp boost the wonderful display we succeed in exhibiting each year andwho knows, you could be one of the lucky prizewinners.

A great variety of entertainment has been organised from a pipe band to adog show, a display of vintage motorbikes and a local Landrover collection.Pony rides, side stalls and children's entertainment. It all adds up to agreat family day. Innerwick Welfare Association will also be organising anevening dance in the village hall.

Go on support Innerwick Flower Show; it'syour Show after all.

Look forward to seeing you on 6th August,

Innerwick Horticultural Society
