• Use lab employees more constructively if located in ITS area• Public lab use dropping• W143 lab is nicer for faculty and has much newer workstations

Redesign ITS office layout

• Larger reception area needed to accommodate users with laptops• Service area very crowded with poor work-flow and little storage• No meeting area for demonstration or 1 on 1 content meetings

Instructional Media Services

Instructional Media Requests

• Providing LCD projectors and computers for PowerPoint, Corel Presentations and Web Presentations are most common

• Other tasks such as video editing, format conversions, optical slide production or equipment maintenance are not included

• Total LCD requests in 2002-2003 were 2460. In 2003-2004 requests were 4006, and increase of over 60%

• As the number of users and the quantity of equipment increases, so does the need for instruction and maintenance
