Assumptions

• This process starts when all appropriate approvals have been obtained through the agency Project Portfolio Process and the Senior IT Committee.

• This process will take several days, please plan accordingly.

• Discover and Document Functional Requirements• What the agency wants to accomplish and how• Agency works with BIT Development to complete

• Draft RFP • Template available• Agency works with BIT Development to complete

• Complete RFP Review Questions (new)• Provide functional and technical project information• Help BIT understand what the agency will be expecting • Agency works with BIT Development to complete

• Complete RFP Technical Review Meeting (new)• Establish a common understanding of goals of the RFP• Identify and discuss technical issues that could impact the

project• Help BIT understand what the agency will be expecting • Help the Agency understand the technical aspects of the

project• Ensure the project can be supported by BIT• Agency, BIT Development and BIT Technical Infrastructure
