Information on Photography Studio

• In the studio I used the Colourama (black backdrop) witch will give me a dark

background to give a rough image to the photographs.

• Two flash lights will be used but they have to be off at all time and the reasons these

lights will be off constantly is so that the model doesn’t overheat.

• The two soft boxes on the massive lights defuse light so that the lighting isn’t all at

an armature level.

• Polyboards bounces light and reflect light to he models body and face

• I have to stand at least 5 to 6 feet away from the model but nothing more to get the

best pictures of my model.

• Polyboards are positioned in a specific way

• When it’s at level 1.0 (lighting equipment) the light is quite weak but when you

increase it the lights get even more intense and it can go even higher. The lighting distributes the light evenly on the model so that the SLR camera (Nikon D7000) can capture the lighting efficiently.

• The Nikon D7000 is a 16million megapixel SLR camera (Its already set to its highest

settings)

• High resolution shots so the pictures come out in high definition in all situations.

• Two settings on the camera and their calked (A) aperture priority - controls how

much light enters the lens.

• (S) Shutter priority - controls how fast the light enters the lens. The Agdox remote

control is what hangs off the left light and it receives a signal from the camera as soon as you click the shutter button the Agdox remote sends a signal to the two lights and they flash. This happens in a few fractions of a second and this is because the Agdox remote uses infer red lights to send and receive these signals.

• The lighting is the Receiver.

• But the light takes a bit of time to charge back up but when it does it makes a beep noise to indicate that it has fully charged.

• Reflector boards they fold up and bend to reflect the lights around the model.

• The reflectors have a gold and silver side.

-The gold side gives a warmer tone to a face.

-The silver side gives a harder rougher tone to face.
