and may therefore be incorrect− The ingredients are evaluated with a traffic light system
based on self-defined criteria− Current scientific knowledge is rarely considered− …nor scientific assessments of the
competent bodies (SCCS, BfR)− Some are chargeable− Not all are free of advertising

Since 2011, the INCI database (26,000 ingredients) on www.haut.de provides information on ingredients that can be used in cosmetic products on the basis of the European Cosmetic Products Regulation. It explains the ingredients and their functions based on a neutral scientific background.
