Fierce Groove, solid Harmony, brilliant Melody and raw Power- these are the four irrevocable

cornerstones in the exciting sound universe of The Ragdolls. For nearly five years the West-

German The Ragdolls represent handmade, true and heavyly intoxicating Rockmusic. From

past to present, The Ragdolls have consistently worked themselves up. From the early days

newcomer status to a more-than-local hero band with a solid fanbase. Now, they are pitching

towards the next chapter in their Band’s History.

Despite their Insiderstatus as a band, Pat Jo (Vocals), Jacky Young (Bass), Marc Hell (Guitar),

S. Voll (Guitar), Tobi Ace (Drums) and Background Babe Ju Lia are true veterans of the harsh

German Music Business. The Bandname, The Ragdolls, pays tribute to this claim: The Ragdolls

are the produce of long lasting friendships between all Members. Six unique individuals whith

lifetimes of experience and yet so much more to tell. Stories about good but most and foremost

bad times based on the actual lessons that life had kept in store for them. Five guys and a girl,

the nitty-gritty stuff that sticked to the wall. Torn on the inside yet shining on the outside, the

band has always kept the passion alive, something which has unfortunately become very rare

among the current day Rockbands.

Charisma, key to the Sound of The Ragdolls; the rag rock puppets. No styled up leisure wanna-

be rockstars, but true sound-hustlers. Powerful, guitar-heavy Rock paired with heavy catchy

grooves and superb melodic singing. This is the stuff that makes walls shake! In other words;

Nowadays The Ragdolls are the closest you’re gonna get to the true Rockband sound. Stylis-

tically always somewhere in between Bon Jovi, AC/DC and Bad Company, those influences are

mixed with an incomparable selfmade sound which leads to an explosive audible mixture.

The high-percentage Rockcocktail, a description which refers to the debut album „Day One“,

was released in 2012 and received euphoric feedback throughout the scene . On „Day One“, the

West-German all-rounders – a term they like to use when asked to describe themselves – show

off their fierce side: compact, tight, yet playful and full of power!

The Ragdolls Maxime is clear and distinct : always, straight-forward! Feel the gallons of heart-

blood, sweat and epinephrine in each beat of the bass drum, in each tone carved by the guitar

and in every single sung and unsung word. Aboard The Ragdolls tourbus, they bring us yet
