Introduction

One of the important objectives of the FUJITSU management for the upcoming years is the revenue & margin growth for the Data Centre

Portfolio with PRIMEFLEX Integrated Systems and PRIMEFLEX SAP Solution. We consolidate our Primeflex Integrated Systems and SAP Solution

offering and assigned respective Master data and Solution Identifier available within our Tool landscape in Salesforce,EBIS and System

Architect.

This inform introduces the Solution Opportunity assignment in SALESFORCE and usage of Solution Identifiers.

The concept foresees to add a Solution Line Item in the Offering (Solutions) section of an opportunity already in SFDC. Automatically in addition

a Product Line Items is created with the Solution identifier information in the Offering (SAP Portfolio) opportunity view.

Only the presence of a Solution Line Items within the opportunity will ensure that the opportunity is report as a Solution opportunity for

the sales pipeline overlay reporting.

Adding a quote including mandatory a Solution Identifier to the opportunity ensure, that the Solution Identifier in case of won deals and

will be transfer to the SAP ERP system and HFM/EBIS as base functionality for the measurement of Overlay revenue and Margin.

And the HFM Solution Overlay Reporting follow up the financial figures

Further planning foreseen in addition to show the progress of the solution business with BI Reporting (Tableau) and as soon possible based on

a new HFM Solution master.

Steps needed to qualify an Opportunity as a Solution To ensure basically already on early stage a consistent Overlay Solution Sales Pipeline reporting, please pay attention to the following

procedures during the creation or maintenance of opportunities within SFDC. This procedure furthermore eases a prompt support by the EMEA

Product Management and Business Development.

Necessary additions during the creation of a solution opportunity

The identification of the respective Solution is visible in the „Offering (Solutions)“ section of the opportunity.

Please click “Offering (Solutions)” in the opportunity header section

Within the “Offering (Solutions)” section, an empty list of Solutions should be displayed.

Press “Add Solutions” to open the Offering Management dialog including the Offering Tree.

You can browse through the offering tree in an explorer like process selecting first Solution Groups and then Solution Line Items or alternative

enter a value in the Search field, e.g. vsan, triggering afterwards Search offering button

If you have found the Solution Line Item, you want to add, press the “Add” button, in our example “PRIMEFLEX for Vmware VSAN”

When selecting the „Add“ button for a Solution, the Solution Management dialog will open and insert the “Expected Delivery Date“.

Please use the dates as applicable for related product items in the Offering SAP Portfolio section. The entered date need to be in the

future.

After selecting the „Select Offering“ button, adding of a Solution will be completed and the Solution was added to the Offering

(Solution) section AND an Solution Identifier value data record added to the Offering (Products) section.

You can remove Solutions via selection of the Solution and pressing delete. Both the Solution Item in Offering (Solution) section as well as the Solution Identifier in the Offering (Products) section will be removed. Creation of Quotes in SFDC with Solution Identifiers The concept of measuring Solutions related to revenues & margins requires the adding of a Solution Identifier to the opportunity Quote for all below mentioned Solutions. There are two ways to incorporate the Solution Identifier into the Quote. One is the configuration using the SystemArchitect to configure the Solution Identifier code with quote configuration. The other option is a direct input in SFDC as Quote line item.

The Solution Identifiers are to be found in the system architect under the tab "Hardware".

In SFDC you can configure the Solution Identifier under the tab “Quote Configuration”.

Via transfer of the opportunity quote to the ERP system and EBIS , the SD-Order containing a Solution Identifier code ensure the correct measurement of revenues and margins of the according Solutions in the Solution Overlay Reporting and the execution of exsting STIP guidelines.. In case of splitting a tender into several P82 orders, the Solution Identifiers – after consulting with the responsible Sales-Team – have to be added to all relevant P82 orders during the creation of the orders, before the first saving. If an order contains only Local Buying Products (e.g. Cisco), the position type of the Solution Identifier has to be set from ZKNS to ZKS in SAP.

Background info: In the case that the solution-specific material number in an order is missing, the order won’t be shown in the Solution Overlay Reporting, and also the STIP guidelines won’t be implemented. For instance, this could occur with subsequent orders or orders which don’t contain a solution specific component (e.g. Server or Storage products for SAP Infrastructure solutions. In this case it is necessary to implement a Solution Identifier during the creation of the order. In the case that the order already contains a solution specific material number, the adding of a Solution Identifier is recommended. This new concept allows therefore a standardized adding of Solution Identifiers to simplify this process.
