The dyke on the Bergsche Maas River will be lowered allowing high water to flow onto the Overdiepse Polder. On average, this will occur once every 25 years. Along the Oude Maasje River a new dyke will be built. The eight agricultural companies, which will remain on the polder will be placed on mounds.TRANSCRIPT
