The Manger (Cry Room)The Manger is located at Level 3 of the Sanctuary and is strictly reserved for families with children below the age of 3 years. Children 3 to 12 years old are strongly encouraged to attend Silver Boxes*, our children’s programme at Level 1 of the Sanctuary. We also have Shiny Tots ministry* at 9.30am and at 12pm if your child is between the ages of 12 months to 30 months. If you or your child is unwell, please refrain from using The Manger as the germs can spread easily. *Sessions not avaliable on first Sunday of each month.

Frequently Asked QuestionsQn 1. I am not in a cell group. How do I participate in the CBE?Ans. If you are not in a cell, please register at the booth in the Fellowship Hall TODAY. The small groups will meet on Thursdays, 7.30pm to 9.30pm and on Saturdays, 10am to 12pm, with a choice of the 8-week reading plan or 16-week reading plan.

Qn 2. When will the CBE be launched?Ans. We will launch the CBE on Sunday, 5 Aug 2018

Note: For NON-CELLED participants who have ordered the printed copy of the Books of the Bible: New Testament, please collect your copy at the Fellowship Hall next Sunday 29 Jul, 10.45am – 1.15pm. For CELLED participants, your Cell Leaders will collect the books on your behalf TODAY.

DISCIPLE 1 CourseDISCIPLE 1 Course is a 34-week program of disciplined Bible study aimed at devel-oping disciples of Christ. The Parenting Children Course is a 5-session course designed for any parent or care givers of children. Participants get to watch videos and participate in small group discussions facilitated by our church members. 1. As our church’s financial year draws to a close on 31 July, let us thank God for his abundant provision which has made it possible for us to reach out to the community and the nations. May we submit to His Lordship as He guides us to use the gifts, talents and resources He has blessed us with to further the ex-tension of His Kingdom.

2. Pray for guidance and wisdom for the LCEC which meets on 24 July.

3. Using the 40-day prayer guide, pray for the well-being of Singapore and its citizens. Let us also pray for one anoth-er so that in our hearts we may “… re-vere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,” (1 Peter 3:15, NIV).

PLMC is looking for suitable candidates to join the staff team as Communica-tions ExecutiveJob Scope: • Reports to the Director of

Communications and/or the Pastor over-seeing Communications

• Responsible for the visual impact and creative design of print materials, web pages and video content

• Develop artwork and update existing collaterals

• Assist to co-ordinate and conceptualize, where necessary, collaterals and publications including weekly service bulletins, ministry inserts, church magazines, conference reports etc...

• Assist with website and social media management

• Assist in publicity of major events of the church and in archiving of church records

• Any other duties as assigned by the Pastor-in-Charge

Requirements: • Diploma or degree in mass

communication, graphic design, illustration, multimedia or related disciplines

• Minimum two years’ experience in corporate communications or public relations with hands-on graphic design portfolio

• Enjoy working on creative projects• Meticulous in attention to detail and

a good track record in multi-tasking• Strong computer skills: in particular,

a sound knowledge of Desktop Publishing tools and design software like Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, WordPress etc...

• Basic photography skills and knowledge of photographic equipment

• Must be able to work on Sundays• Must be able to work independently,

have self-initiative and meet deadlines promptly

• A passionate and dedicated team-player
