Courtyard RedevelopmentCourtyard RedevelopmentLast Friday I met with our architects from Crosier Scott and representatives of the Victorian SchoolBuilding Authority and Aurecon who have been employed by VSBA (Victorian School BuildingAuthority) DET to overview the project. At the meeting Aurecon were reassured that all aspects of the Design Development stage were inplace and gave the architects the go ahead to take the project to tender documentation. This stagewill take around eight weeks which means our project is on schedule for works to begin throughthe September holidays with window replacement works due to commence before this. The demolition stage which will be disruptive is scheduled to be completed whilst the students areon holidays, to be followed by a ten week construction phase. Most Block B and some Block AWindows are also to be replaced as part of this project. The aim is to plant in late November to give around three months for the plants to establishthemselves before the students come back at the end of January. A display with concept pictures is in our hall for all to see. John WilliamsPrincipal
