Tender Selection Criteria • Businesses registered through ICN Gateway

• Local business content ( including list of respective local industry suppliers in the supply chain – if not local then what from what local region )

• Previous experience of similar size and type of projects

• Capacity and staff resources, capability and experience to perform the works, including current future workload and how this will be managed and maintained

• Company Safety Plan/Policy with advice on safety notices served, record of Lost Time Injuries and Medical Treatment Injuries

• Financial statement including annual turn-over and insurance coverage levels

• Claims history under Building and Construction Industry Payments Act 2004 (BCIPA)

• Compliance with the Queensland Code

• Compliance with the Federal Building Code 2016. The Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016 applies to the building work associated with this project. By submitting an expression of interest in, or tender for, this project, you will become subject to the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016

Tender Selection Criteria cont • Compliance to QCLC including Watpac’s QCLC Statement of Intent and how

this will be achieved

• Amenable to personnel security/criminal records check which may be applied by Commonwealth and or State police or their independent referral agencies

• Adherence to the Queensland Government’s Training Policy including advice on the company’s/organisation indigenous employment content

• Adherence to the Indigenous Economic Opportunities Plan established for the project and commitment to employment /training and upskilling of 6.6% of local Aboriginal Indigenous labour content based trade package value

• Company Environmental Policy

• Company Quality Assurance Policy and Certification Status

• Potential innovation that could be offered to the project including WOL /ESD

• Accessibility to qualified technical support staff during DLP and WOL periods

• Track record for Practical Completion on Time and Post Completion attendance, including rectification of defects.
