Software Varex Industrial has developed an easy to use Cone Beam CT Software Toolkit (CST) that provides 2-D corrections to projection data to increase its fidelity and provides 3-D reconstructions for cone beam CT data, as well as image-based corrections to optimize analysis of the data. The software toolkit provides companion image processing algorithms and CBCT reconstruction.

CST is designed for use with Varex Industrial X-ray fluoroscopic flat panel detectors. It comprises a suite of Windows-based software libraries that enables OEMs to quickly develop software that produces high-quality 2D images or 3D reconstructions for industrial applications.
