Coating thickness is tested with the LU200 and the reflectance measured. The system calculates the relation- ship between reflected sound and coating thickness and stores the cali- bration in nonvolatile memory. Once calibrated, instant measurement is provided on test samples. Data is dis- played on the LCD and may be stored in memory. Test results may be trans- mitted to a printer or PC through the RS232 connection.
