Flexible LayoutThe Indupart Panoramic Sectional Overhead Door is constructed fromaluminium frames. Within these frames, one or more typesof panel can be fitted in accordance with your wishes.Next to each other the frames form a section. The sectionstogether form the structure of the overhead door anddetermine its appearance. The layout of the structure isdesigned for each door individually. The number of framesand sections can therefore differ per door, as can theformat of both. This provides you with the optimumcreative freedom and the Panoramic overhead doors aresuitable for the widest range of architectural designs.

Individual stylingTo give your overhead door an individual style, you can combine a wide range of transparent and blank panels. An endless number of combinations are possible. The sections of the Panoramic are as standard made of anodised aluminium.

Powder CoatingIf the sections will be supplied in a colour, then theprofiles will receive a high-quality coloured powdercoating. This single layer powder coating guaranteeshigh-quality colour, gloss, hardness, durability, adhesionand coating thickness.

Durable, transparent and attractivePanoramic overhead doors are even more durable thanks tothe use of high-quality materials. By using transparent fillingsin the design, the overhead door allows the maximumamount of light to enter the building. It gives the overheaddoor an attractive appearance and makes it extremelysuitable for use where appearance is important such as inshowrooms, firestations and ambulance-stations. In addition,the transparent fillings increase the amount of light thatenters the building. As a result, additional artificial light isoften unnecessary. This guarantees important savings.

Fully Glazed


Blank steel bottom sectionThe use of transparent panels gives an overhead door acertain elegance, but in practice, the bottom section of thedoor often gets more dirty and is more likely to getdamaged. Therefore, for practical considerations, manycompanies choose a combination with a single matchingblank steel bottom section. The appearanceof the steel bottom section is of course adapted to thestyle of the entire door.

Only available with finger protectionAll our overhead doors are CE approved, and are safeto use. Panoramic Sectional Overhead Doors are supplied asstandard with finger protection. The finger protectionprevents the fingers getting caught between the panelswhen shutting the door.Finger protection is not obligatory (CE standard) foroverhead doors higher than 2.50 metres (the height of thepivot point of the top section). However, we have consciouslychosen to equip all our doors with finger protection.

Outstanding Technical Advantages Include

Engineered MovementIf you have an old tilting garage door you know the problems. Runners stick, a huge effort is needed to start the door moving and the whole operation is cumbersome,

noisy and unpredictable.The R60 and E80 guide rail systems solve these problems. The system requires no structural change and only needs 60mm of top clearance. The long life guide rail

system combines corrosion resistant galvanised steel vertical and horizontal rails with a curved aluminium transition piece.This is Smart Connection: a patented technology that provides smooth, almost silent, door movement on rails that are resistant to wear. Select R60 for manually

operation or electrically operated lift with the E60 option.

Galvanised steel torsion springs are used to offset the weight of the door, reducing the effort required. We use a minimum of two springs per door, but may install up to four on larger doors.


Security

Garages are common targets for criminals. To secure your door we install SGK locks that are tested and certified by the foundation for facade element quality. Electrically operated doors also provide a further safeguard with an

anti-lift device to prevent the door being manually lifted.

Safety

All doors include edge protection so that fingers cannot be trapped or pinched between panels. In addition all doors include a device to stop

sudden closure in the event of mechanical failure, such as the failure of a door spring. All electrically operated doors also have a force limiter.

This will detect if there is any obstruction and reverse movement to avoid damage or injury. The steel door, with fire retardant and CFC free foam

insulation, is inherently fire resistant.

Energy Saving

Door panels are foam insulated to reduce heat loss, condensation and sound transmission. In addition, 30mm EPDM rubber seals ensure effective

closure preventing air, rain and blown-snow ingress around the door perimeter to create a more stable environment inside the garage.

Strength

Door panels are fabricated from strong horizontal 40mm steel sandwich panels with an extra thick steel skin. These are galvanised for long-life

corrosion protection that will be effective even if the outer decorative finish is scratched or damaged.

from an almost unlimited palette to give a flat mirror polished surface.As an alternative to flat colour we can also offer a choice of 20 attractive stucco

Insulated Rolatherm ShuttersRoller Curtain:Curtain is constructed from 77mm steel lath, Galvanised finish. The lath is rolled in one section, which is injected with a foam core. Please note: The insulated lath is not suitable for powder coating. Powder coating is done at customers own risk and will not be done through Indupart.

Operation:1PH or 3PH GFA direct drive motor pre wired with open/stop/close push button and 16 amp 1 Ph 3 pin CEE plug or 3 Ph 5 pin CEE plug. Emergency manual chain over ride (change over and operation at floor level).

Direct Drive Roller ShuttersOverviewThe Indupart Direct Drive Roller Shutter requires no drive chain; no barrel tensioning and no isolator. This means that installation is much easier. And is also extremely safe. Indupart’s technical team have compiled detailed installation instructions.

Design and InstallationDoors supplied upto 6500 mm W x 6500 mm H, flag guide set up as standard. High quality bearings - the shaft does not run in direct contact with rough castings. Indupart’s Direct Drive Roller Shutters are pre-wired for easy installation and include a 1 Ph 3 pin CEE plug or 3 Ph 5 pin CEE plug. A 16 amp socket must be provided within 1 metre of the motor drive side of the door 1500 mm from finished floor level.

Door Head GearSectional doors are counterbalanced to ensure the smooth running of doors. All counterbalance spring calculations carried out by Indupart are designed to get the maximum life out of the door springs we manufacture (most typical loading docks are calculated to a minimum of 20,000 cycles). The springs are high tensile helical wound steel. Shot blasted for improved performance. The springs are mounted on a steel shaft supported by bearing brackets incorporating sealed bearing rollers, to ensure free running of the shaft. Also mounted on the spring shaft are the cable drums. These carry the aircraft quality cables, which have 7:1 safety factor. These are looped and swaged using a hydraulic press to ensure the cables do not get detached from the cable drums or the brackets which connect the cables to the bottom of the door panels. Spring break devices and cable breaks are fitted to doors as standard to comply with CE markings.

Panel OptionsKingspan Plastisol XL200 or polyester coating to the external face an extensive range of colours. Internal RAL 9010. Factory paint finish to either internal or external face to any BS or RAL colour.

OverviewThe THERMALsafe door features the best values in terms of air permeability classification - class 4, the first to date on the sectional door market, and superior U value - thermal performance of an average, 22% better than a standard sectional door.

There is little doubt that there is an increasing demand for improved thermal performance in a sectional door. In meeting this challenge effectively, one must address the thermal conductivity performance (U value) of the door in tandem with the air permeability of the door system. Merely addressing one of these is no longer enough.

Over the course of several years, Indupart has developed its THERMALsafe foam technology which offers extremely low thermal conductivity. This development meets one critical point of the THERMALsafe door.

However, there is often confusion over true U value performance of an insulated panel and in many cases the panel joints and other areas of cold bridging are not dealt with properly, or even not included in published U values. This is to say, nothing of air leakage through the side seals, panel joints or top and bottom of the door. With its door, Indupart has met the challenge on all these aspects through:

What is the air-permeability of a sectional door?Air-permeability is simply the amount of airflow, which can pass through the door leaf, in principle through the panel joints, the sides, the top and bottom of the door. To truly improve the thermal performance of a sectional door, one must take into account both: the U value of the door as a whole, and its air-permeability performance.

What is the U Value of a sectional door?“U” Value is the coefficient of transmission i.e., the transmission of heat through the materials, which compose the building’s “envelope,” or outer shell.

The U value of a material is a measure of the amount of heat that passes through a surface area of 1 m2 for each degree of temperature difference between the inside and outside. Therefore, the lower the U value, the more energy-efficient the material is. The U value is a function of the thickness of the material and the materials’ thermal conductivity.

Regarding sectional doors, a common misconception is to take U value of the panel (or even just the U value of the foam) and to apply it to the whole door.

To properly calculate the true U value of a sectional door, one needs to take into account not only the U value of a sectional door panel (which differs from one manufacturer to another) but also to include the panel joints, sides seals and any other places that the heat can be conducted through on an assembled door.

ApplicationFire prevention is of supreme importance, both in new and existing locations. The Tube Op Fire Resistant Shutter has been successfully tested and assessed by Exova (Warrington Fire). Report number 3123:1 conforming to BSEN 1634-1:2008. Indupart are at the forefront of creating the highest standards in ensuring staff safety in the event of fire.The Indupart Tube Motor Operated Fire Shutter has been tested to a width of 2500 mm and a height of 2500 mm to give up to four hours fire protection. Here are the sizes we can do depending on the fire ratings.

Roller BarrelsElectronically welded (ERW) steel tubes are used, of varying diameter and wall thickness, which is determined to keep the deflection of the barrel within Door and Shutter Manufacturers Association guidelines. The tube motor is fitted inside of the barrel.

Fire shutters are provided to prevent flame spread from one compartment to another, they are NOT for security.

Guide RailsAre cold rolled “U” section channels. The channels are assembled on fixing angles of suitable gauge to suit the installation with the end plate angle being pre-assembled on the guide angle, this helps compensate for uneven fixing surfaces and speeds the installation process up considerably (Flag guide arrangement).GUIDE RAIL OPTIONS Galvanised finish or Polyester powder coated finish to a range of BS or RAL colours. (Grey primer standard).

SealsTube Operated fire shutters come with a canopy to ensure the maximum flame spread prevention from your door, whether it is 1/2, 1, 2 or 4 hour rated.ACTIVATION OPTIONS - in fire situations it is important that the shutter closes to contain flame spread. The activation to close the shutter to be linked into a fire alarm: and driven down under power in an alarm situation*.

ApplicationThe Indupart Blazeguard Fire Resistant Roller Shutter Door has been tested in accordance with BS476: part 22: 1987 and is assessed to a maximum width of 7000 mm and maximum height of 7000 mm to give up to two hours fire protection. These assessments were undertaken to the Loss Prevention Council guidelines, test report number TE 92440.

The shutter curtain is constructed from interlocking galvanised steel laths and a heavier duty manufactured bottom rail, running in steel side channels, mounted on mild steel support angles which are bolted to the structure. The curtain weight is supported from a suitable steel tube barrel assembly at high level, running on steel bearings. The barrel assembly is supported between mild steel endplates in a flag guide arrangement and driven through gears. A galvanised steel coil casing and flame trap fascia are provided as standard.

ActivationManual operation by means of continuous galvanised haul chain for opening and a pull cord disengage device to give controlled descent on closing. Due to the gearing within the controlled descent operator, the manual operation is a slow process and is designed for occasional use only.

Electrical operation is by means of a high quality single or three phase controlled descent operator. All controls are 24-volt low voltage and have open, close and stop button as standard. Emergency manual override is provided as standard to allow operation of the door in case of power failure.
