Tuition

We have one of the best Music Programs in WA, staffed by educators who are respected nationally for their talent and teaching ability. As a school, we are committed to nurturing student’s interests and proficiencies in music; and offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities and tutoring for students in Pre-Primary to Year 12. Through the individual music tuition program, student’s receive weekly tuition that is timetabled during school hours (Monday – Friday) and on a rotating basis, so that the same lesson or activity is not missed more than twice throughout the term. Year 11 and 12 students studying an ATAR pathway, and students with a recognised IEP may negotiate fixed out of school hours with the tutor.

The individual music tuition program is a fantastic way for your child to grow their instrumental skills within a safe and supportive school environment. Continuing with music tuition can also prepare your child for a career in music, as the College endorses the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) curriculum and administers both practical and written examinations which may contribute towards the WACE for senior years. Students are required to organise the hiring/ buying of their own instrument prior to the commencement of their first music lesson Students must also attend each lesson with their instrument and make every effort to notify the tutor in advance if they will be absent.
