Registered Post with Acknowledgement Due" on or before 17/11/2012 at 12.00Noon.

The applicants who belong to category of ExSM and MSP may apply in the

prescribed form of application attached herewith along with the attested photo

copies of the requisite testimonials by "Registered Post with Acknowledgement

Due" (or) "in person" duly superscribing on the cover as "APPLICATION FOR

RECERUITMENT TO THE POST OF STAFF NURSE", so as to reach ({The Director,

Indira Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute, Vazhudavour Road,

Kathirkamam, Pudutherry-60S009" on or before 17/11/2012 at 12.00 Noon.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES APPLYING NOW:

1. Those OBC candidates who have already applied for the post of Staff Nurse

and who produce· now the Certificates in support of their claim under BT/ BCM/

EBC/MBC, pursuant to this Amendment for their claiming, should indicate their

computer generated unique Application Number for reference, if not produced

earlier.

2. The applicants in respect of Ex-servicemen and Meritorious Sports Persons

should necessarily submit the attested copies of the following testimonials along

with the application:-

(a) Birth Certificate/Transfer Certificate or Board/University Certificate

indicating Date of Birth for age proof.

(b) S.S.L.C.jMatriculation or its equivalent and Higher Secondary or its

equivalent Mark Sheets.

(c) Necessary Degree 1 Diploma Certificate in Nursing with all Marks

Sheets (year-wise/semester-wise) including attempts made, if any.

(d) The prescribed educational qualification and technical qualification

acquired through regular course should have been completed prior

to the last date for receipt of duly filled in application.

(e) Permanent Registration Certificate for Nurse and Midwifery from any

State Nursing & Midwifery Council in India (Note: In the event of

selection to the post, offer of appointment will be given only on

production of permanent Registration Certificates).

(f) Residence/Nativity Certificate: The candidates who are natives of

the Union Territory of Puducherry and residents by continuous

residence in the Union Territory of Puducherry for the last 5 years

immediately preceding the date of notification are only eligible to

apply for the posts. (Note: Certificate issued on or after 01/01/2012

and duly valid Permanent Integrated Certificate (PIC) and certificates

already issued by the Competent Authority will only be accepted)

(g) Most Backward Class lather Backward Class 1 Backward Class

Muslim 1 Extreme Backward Class 1 Backward Tribes Certificate for

employment purpose obtained from the Competent Authority of the

Department of Revenue and Disaster Management, Puducherry 1Karaikall Mahe 1Yanam not below the rank of Executive Magistratel

Tahsildar/Deputy Tahsildar as the case may be issued on or after

01/01/2012 and duly valid Permanent Integrated Certificate (PIC) and

certificates already issued by the Competent Authority will only be

accepted.

(h) Certificate for employment purpose obtained from the Competent

Authority of the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management,

Puducherry 1 Karaikal 1 Mahe 1 Yanam in the prescribed form alone

will be accepted. Old and combined certificates will not be accepted.

(i) If migrant certificates are submitted in respect of

MBCIOBC/BCM/EBC/BT, their applications will be considered against

Un-reserved category.

(j) Candidates who apply against the horizontal reservation provided for

Ex-servicemen and Meritorious Sports Person should necessarily

submit the relevant certificates issued by Department of Sainik

Welfare, Puducherry and Office of the Deputy Director (Sports and

Youth Services), Education Department, Puducherry respectively

along with related records in the prescribed format only. Certificates

received from any other authority will not be accepted.

3. The applications from Ex-servicemen and Meritorious Sports Persons,which are not in complete shape, or without signatures both in application andchecklist and without enclosing the requisite certificates/mark sheets etc. asindicated above, will be summarily rejected and further correspondence will notbe entertained for any reasons therefor. The candidate shall ensurehimself/herself that all the requisite attested copies of certificates are attachedalong with his/her application within the due date for submission and the

Institution will not be responsible for any lapse in this regard. Attested copies ofcertificates left out if any proposed to be enclosed after the due date ofsubmission of, application by the candidate will not be accepted and therequisition in this regard will not be entertained on any account. No intimationwill be given for receipt of late/incorrect/ineligible applications and also the resultof recruitment would not be intimated on, any account to the non-selectedcandidates. Only the selected candidates will be issued offer of appointment. Nocorrespondence or interim enquires from the candidates will be entertained inthis regard.

4. The applications (from ExSM & MSP) received after the prescribed dateand time i.e., received after 17/11/2012 at 12.00 Noon will not be considered.

Application, which is incomplete or wrongly filled in will also not be consideredand such applications will not be returned to the candidates.

5. Government servants (ExSM & MSP) working in the State/CentralGovernment/Autonomous Bodies and Public Sector Undertakings should submittheir applications through their Employer only so as to reach this Institute withinthe due date i.e., on or before 17/11/2012.

6. Change of address, if any, after submission of application should beintimated to the Institution or otherwise the Institution will not be responsible forany postal delay/non-delivery of letters etc.

7. The Director, Indira Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute,Kathirkamam, Puducherry reserves the right to enhance/reduce the number ofvacancies and also to cancel the recruitment process, if necessity arises. Thedecision of the Institution shall be final regarding the eligibility of candidates orotherwise.

8. All other conditions of this Institute's Notification of even number dated

22/06/2012 remain unaltered.
