Our Mission.

2. COMPANY OVERVIEW.

Indika Jayathilake Valuation & Real Estate Consultancy (Pvt) Limited is one

of the denominator companies in IJVR Group. The IJVR group has engaged in

Real Estate & Valuation consultancy & Tourism Craft in Sri Lanka. This group

is consisting in three companies called “Indika Jayathilake Valuation & Real

Estate Consultancy (Pvt) Limited, Randepala (PVT) Limited & Randiya Resort

Kothmale (PVT) Limited.

The IJVR Group was started by the Former Government Valuer & Ex Assistant

General Manager of Ceylinco Group Mr. Indika Jayathilake. He started his

individual practices in 2004 and developed the valuation & Real estate

consultancy service gradually up to a vast valuation firm, in this firm

currently working about 20 employees including graduate & undergraduate

Trainers sent by Department of Estate Management & Valuation of University of

Sri Jayewardenepura.

As the Chief Valuation Officer, Mr. Indika Jayathilake has issued over 20,000

professional valuation reports for various purposes of clients. & most of

satisfaction feedbacks are receiving as the result of good service provided

by the firm.

3. CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE.

Today real estate market has become a leading & most

efficiency market comparative to the past Sri Lanka. This

case is being happening in every country in world by today.

Property prices are increasing dramatically. This is

happening comparative to the increasing of the population.

Human beings lived in past world did not considered that

real estate is so important. But, everyone has understood by

today no any other asset is not worth as much as real estate.

Real estate is the one of the most scare real resources in world. It should determine a fair value for the

real estate assets. Determination of value of real estate assets are done by most prominent valuers. This is

one of the golden and oldest professional in world.

In 1994, I was able to enter to the Department of Estate Management & Valuation, University of Sri

Jayewardenepura and qualified to undergo B.Sc. special degree in real estate management and valuation.

. In there, I was able to have a wide understanding on real estate valuation & real estate management.

After graduation, I joined with the Department of valuation in 1999 September. I worked there around 5

years and gained every aspects of the valuation practice. Then I decided to have a practical aspects of the

real estate development as well, So I left the department and joined the Ceyfco property company (pvt)

ltd which was the sister company of the Ceylinco group as a Real Estate Manager in year 2004. Then I

was promoted as Senior Manager Real Estate in year 2007 and assign an additional duty of overlooking

the luxury housing construction project at Baththaramulla.

Meanwhile I could be able to get the legal permission from Ceyfco property company (pvt) ltd in year

2006 to continue my professional valuation practice while I am working there. Then I started my

professional practices gently and build up my clientele slowly until I left the Ceyfco Property company in

year 2014. In the year 2005 Ceyfco property company started a property valuation section under my

leadership in order to value properties belongs to Ceylinco Group.

Then Year 2014 I left the Ceyfco Property company and my entire capacity geared for the full time

valuation practice as a professional valuer. Further I started private valuation firm named “Indika

Jayathilaka Valuation and Real Estate consultancy (pvt) ltd in year 2016.

In 2017 I was able to enhance my valuation practice up to international level and get the Membership of

Royal Institution of Chartered Surveys and titled as Chartered Valuer (RICS) UK. In addition to that

Corporate member of Institute of Revenue Rating and Valuation United Kingdom and Fellow member of

Property Consultants Society United Kingdom are the other recognitions received as well Then I got my

company register at Department of Estate Management & Valuation of University of Sri

Jayewaedenepura as a student trainer institute.

At present I am panel valuer of the most of Sri Lankan Government and private banks and financial

institutes. (details are attached herewith). Now I possess more than 19 years’ experience as a professional

valuer and twenty graduates and trainees doing their valuation practice and training under my supervision

at my valuation firm. I have set of professionally qualified team for different scenarios as well. Our

success would not be possible without the contribution of our customers and dedicated employees who

have shared our incredible journey thus far.
