Wells Scholar Program: Indiana University Bloomington The Wells Scholarship pays the full cost of attendance for four years of any undergraduate program offered at Indiana University Bloomington campus. Past candidates have been in the top 5% of their class, complied a GPA of 3.9 or higher, scored a 1400 or higher on SAT and a 32 or higher on ACT. IU Bloomington chooses recipients based solely on merit. Students with Exceptional academic accomplishment and promise, fine character and leadership, and involvement in extracurricular activities are looked at closely. United States Senate Youth Program Two student leaders are chosen from each state to participate in a week long government leadership program in D.C., all expenses paid. Each student will also receive a one-time $10,000 scholarship, provided that the student takes two full courses in United States government, history, and/or political science. In order to be eligible for the scholarship, students must hold a student government office position through 2017-2018 school year. Students must submit the application signed by their principal, school transcript, student statement, essay on a controversial issue, resume, and letter of recommendation. The Levine Scholars program: UNC Charlotte Levine Scholarships are awarded to extraordinary high school seniors based on scholarship, ethical leadership, and civic engagement. The Levine Scholarships carry a high honor, one that bestows tremendous opportunities and assumes high expectations of its recipients – as students, as leaders within the university, and as citizens of the greater global community. The program seeks outstanding high school seniors who demonstrate evidence of experience, motivation, and commitment toward the ideals of the Levine Scholars Program. Requirements include:

Students must be applicants for freshman enrollment at UNC Charlotte in a baccalaureate program for the fall term immediately following their high school graduation. Students must be admitted to UNC Charlotte to receive a Levine Scholarship

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents

Students must demonstrate a commitment to community service, hold an academic record that reflects a sustained passion for knowledge, and possess a capacity for ethical leadership that beckons fellow students toward a higher standard

Carlino, Jr. Memorial Scholarship: Nassau County Community College For students who are graduating high school and are enrolled as a full time student at NCC with a program emphasis in mathematics, computer science, or information technology. The Horatio Alger New York Scholarship Program The Horatio Alger Scholarship Programs specifically assist high school students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their young lives. The Horatio Alger program seeks students who have exhibited determination, integrity, and perseverance in overcoming adversity, as well as critical financial need. Deadline dates for each scholarship program will vary. There are numerous scholarships available:

2017 National Eagle Scout Association Scholarship NESA Academic Scholarships Requirements NESA academic scholarships are based on school and Scouting participation, academic performance, and financial need. All applicants must be members of the National Eagle Scout Association to receive a scholarship.

The Mabel and Lawrence S. Cooke scholarships ($2,500 - $48,000) - Awarded based on school and Scouting participation, academic performance, and financial need. Applicants must meet the minimum SAT or ACT score to apply

NESA STEM scholarship ($50,000) - Awarded to one applicant annually who has chosen to pursue a career in a STEM-related field. Applicants for the STEM scholarship who are not selected will automatically be considered for a Cooke scholarship worth $2,500 - $48,000 each

NESA Merit Scholarship Requirements Eagle Scouts may apply for the NESA merit scholarships beginning in their senior year of high school and may continue applying every year up till the junior year in college. This program is the first merit-based scholarship program at the University of Notre Dame. The program is also a leadership development program, engaging scholars throughout the academic year and summer. Notre Dame Undergraduate Admissions will identify outstanding candidates for the Hesburgh-Yusko Scholars Program from the entire pool of Restrictive Early Action admitted students (exceptional Regular Decision candidates will also be considered, if they submit a complete an application by January 1). Candidates selected by Admissions for HYSP consideration will be invited to submit an HYSP supplemental application in January. Women in Technology Scholarship: Champlain College This $40,000 scholarship is specifically for woman who will graduate from high school in 2018 and are interested in pursuing an education in the technology field. The Norm Brodsky Idea/Business Concept Competition: Rider University This scholarship is designed to recognize and promote exceptional effort, skill, and creativity among high school students. Most Valuable Student Scholarship: Elks National Foundation Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. Continuing Scholarship Anbryce Scholars Initiative: University of Notre Dame AnBryce Scholars aim to identify and cultivate future leaders who will be committed to making a difference in

the complex and often fractured world in which we live in. AnBryce Scholars are among the first in their

NCAA Scholarships and Grants The NCAA awards scholarships and grants for further education to athletes who demonstrate outstanding academic and athletic achievement. Member institutions are also awarded grants to improve academics and enhance campus culture. New York Blood Center High School Scholarship Program: New York Blood Center New York Blood Center allows students to earn up to a $1,000 scholarship for successful community service. New York Blood Center will help students organize the blood drive at a location of their choice, or students may utilize one of their 19 Donor Centers, or request a bloodmobile.
