Recruitment of Non-Teaching posts:-

Online applications are invited for the following posts at Indian Institute of Technology Indore. IIT Indore is one of newly established Institutes by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.. 1. Deputy Registrar -1 (Post) (Category – UR)

Qualification and Experience: A Post graduate degree with atleast 55% marks or its

equivalent. With 9 years experience as Assistant Professor in AGP of Rs 6000/- and above

with experience in educational administration, or Comparable experience in research

establishment and/or other institutions of higher education , or 5 years administrative

experience in a post carrying PB-3 with GP 5400 or equivalent in Government/

Government Research Establishments /Universities/Statutory Organizations/Organization

of highly reputed.

Desirable: Familiarity with academic working procedures in a higher technological/educational institutions, Government of India Rules such as FR & SR, GFR, CPWD procedure of works, knowledge of procurement/distribution of materials, import procedures, stores accounting etc. and knowledge of computer applications and good working knowledge of English language. Preference will be given to candidates having qualification like CA/ICMA/SAS/LLB. Pay Scale: (Rs 15,600 - 39,100) with Grade Pay of Rs 7,600/- (Total emoluments on the minimum of pay in Pay Band is Rs 77,513/- (as per present rates of DA and TA) per month plus HRA.

2. Manager (Technical) (3-Posts - UR) ( 1 Glass Blower & 2 Posts in Mechanical Engineering)

a) For Position in the area of Glass Blowing:-

Qualification and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or equivalent. Relevant experience in the field for at least 5 years experience in relevant area in the grade pay of Rs. 2000 or equivalent. Desirable: High School/Intermediate or equivalent. Two years certificate training course in Scientific Glass Blowing from training center of Govt. Scientific Glass Blowing training center Guindy (Chennai), TIFR (Bombay), BARC (Bombay), NPL (Delhi), NCL (Pune) and CSIR Institutions. A candidate must possess the requisite skills for making a variety of Glass apparatus such as coil condensers, bulb condensers, liquid nitrogen traps. Additionally the candidate should be able to operate the glass blowing Lathe machines for fabrication of glass apparatus. Pay Scale: (Rs 9,300 - 34,800) with Grade Pay of Rs 4,200/- (Total emoluments on the minimum of pay in Pay Band is Rs 35,769/- (as per present rates of DA and TA) per month plus HRA.

Qualification and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years relevant experience OR Diploma in Engineering of three years duration in relevant field with 7 years relevant experience OR ITI with 9 years relevant experience in the Grade Pay of Rs 2000 or equivalent. Knowledge of computer applications. Desirable: Postgraduate degree in respective fields and experience in educational/research institutes will be preferred. Pay Scale: (Rs 9,300 - 34,800) with Grade Pay of Rs 4,200/- (Total emoluments on the minimum of pay in Pay Band is Rs 35,769/- (as per present rates of DA and TA) per month plus HRA.

English. Candidate should be a team player having knowledge of maintenance of lab,

Desirable: Candidates having one year relevant experience will be given preference.

Pay Scale: (Rs.5,200-20,200) Grade pay of Rs. 1,800/- (Total emolument on the minimum of pay in Pay Band is Rs. 18,044/- (as per present rates of DA and TA) per month plus HRA. Age Limit - 35 years

5. Deputy Manager (Accounts) - 1 (Reserved for PWD)

Qualification and Experience: B. Com with three years experience or M.Com with one year experience in the sphere of accounts and finance in the reputed organizations. Desirable: Candidates having CA/ICWAI inter and having work experience in educational institutions and a sound knowledge of accounting packages and good working knowledge of English language will be preferred. Pay Scale: (Rs.5,200-20,200) Grade pay of Rs. 2,400/- (Total emolument on the minimum of pay in Pay Band is Rs. 27,189/- (as per present rates of DA and TA) per month plus HRA. Age Limit - 35 years

General Instructions:-

1. The applicants must apply online through the link provided at institute’s website www.iiti.ac.in (till 25-01-2016 (5.00 pm)) and printout of the same by affixing recent pass port size photo shall be submitted to institute along with self attested copies of required documents and application fee (if applicable) on or before 5.00 pm on 02-02-2016. Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay.

2. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD communities, women and regular employees of IIT Indore are exempted from payment of application fee. Candidates belonging to other than those mentioned above, must send a Demand Draft (Non Refundable) of Rs 500/- drawn on any nationalized bank payable at Indore, in favor of Registrar, IIT Indore along with the hard copy of application form.

3. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government of India rules on the subject. Candidates are required to attach the self attested copies of relevant certificate issued from the concerned Competent Authority in the Pro-forma as prescribed by the Govt. of India.

4. Mere fulfillment of qualification and experience requirements does not entitle candidates to be called for the test or Interview.

5. The requirements of minimum qualification, experience and/or age may be relaxed in case of candidates with outstanding credentials and higher grade experience.

6. Experience will be reckoned on the last date for submission of applications.

7. Institute reserves the right to cancel all or any of the posts advertised without assigning any reason.

8. The Institute has the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies advertised.

9. Candidature of applicant shall be subjected to verification of testimonials at any subsequent stage.

10. No interim correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from candidates regarding conduct and result of interview and reasons for not being called for interview.

11. The application form not in the prescribed format “ONLINE” and without the s e l f attested copies of all relevant certificates (both Experience and professional) and fees will be summarily rejected.

13. Preference will be given to ST candidates under PWD category.

14. For PWD category, only such persons would be eligible for reservation who suffer from not less than 40% of relevant disability. To avail the benefit of reservation, the applicant would have to submit a Disability Certificate issued by a Competent Authority.
