scientific inclusion allows us to collaborate with GOI, regulatory processes and all our

pediatricians who bring the therapeutic modules closer to our little patients. We respect the

innovations and ideas which are backed by sound medical understanding to enable our

members to take judicious decisions in their day to day practice.

W e are sensitive to controversial issues and have integrated concerns of all our

members to address them from time to time so as to ensure clear and complete messages

through our various scientific interactions.. IAP MUMBAI lends support to many such

initiatives which will leave a lasting footprint and continually nurture EBM to our members.

Medical education is the best move in this directions and a sigficant endeavour of our

“Neonatal Hemodynamics and Cardiology” And Neonatal Simulation

Workshop (Neo Pedistars) Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai

Dates: 11th and 12th April 2015CME: 12 th April 2015, Venue: Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai

IAP Neonatology Chapter in association with IAP and NNF Mumbai is organizing a

one day CME on neonatal hemodynamics and Cardiology. It will focus on the practical issues

and challenges faced in hemodynamics and management of the cardiac neonate.

Target audience: Neonatologists, practicing Pediatricians, neonatal fellows and

Pediatric residents. It is designed with lectures, case studies, debates and interactive panel

discussions.

CME: Fetal echocardiography, inotropes, neonatal shock, PDA, PPHN, approach to

cyanotic newborn, functional echocardiography, surgical and catheter interventions in

newborn.

Pre-CME workshop on Neonatal Simulation: This is a one day workshop where

delegates have to perform on real life emergency scenarios in the NICU using simulation

techniques. MMC credits applied.

The registration amount for the CME is Rs 1000/- and Rs. 1000/- for the Neonatal

simulation workshop (draft in favor of “Mandke Foundation” to be sent before 30/3/2015). It
