TC and Henderson County employees. In 2005, he started Sylvan Sports in TC whichWes Dickson employs 11 people. Tom Dempsey Wes Dickson started Sycamore Cycle in downtown Brevard in 2000, moved

to Pisgah Forest intersection in 2003, and opened a shop in Hendersonville in 2011; he employs 7 full time employees.

Both saw similarities - total cost, AB Tech and BRCC have feeder programsBiggest difference is process related combined with an attitude diff.

HC had an attitude of facilitation - let's measure how big yoursign can be together, c/w here's the math determine your ownsign dimensions. Incentives were available in HC to extendinfrastructure (albeit for a larger company). Nothing req'd from business owner to work through county/city interface. No centralized entity to help with process and eliminatebarriers. Surprising fees, e.g. infrastructure impact fees formultiple owners of same infrasture. HC assumed you knewnothing and helped. TC it helps to know people in the decision chain
