Independence Day Celebration in Venezuela

The 67th Independence Day of India was celebrated at the Chancery of India

in Caracas with traditional fervour and gaiety in which more than 60 Indians,

PIOs and friends of India participated.

Shri C.B. Thapliyal, Cd' A unfurled the National Flag at 9 a.m. followed by the

National Anthem. Shri Thapliyal then read out the Address to the Nation by

the President of India on the eve of the Independence Day.

Patriotic songs were played on this occasion and homemade Indian snacks

and sweets were served.
