3 Forest area and Nos. of trees. 1-43-03 hectare (1.4303 ha). Eight number trees exist around the periphery of land i.e. along the boundary wall of substation but need not to be removed as they are beyond the required electrical equipment (Oct.2008).It means that only eight No Of Trees were found in the land which was acquired by the govt.

4 Damage to forest No damage of any forest area because substation is on barren land.

5 Wild life sanctuaries This land does not fall inside and also not adjoining to any wild life sanctuary area.

II(a) 220kV/400 kV Pooling Station Gumma 1 Right of Way/ land required Pvt. land measuring 2-47-42 hectare (2.4742 ha) has

been acquired on 31.12.2011for construction of substation. As specified in the abbreviation the hectare means 10,000 sq meter land.means 24742 sq meter.

2 Clearance from trees Not required as no tree falls in the vicinity of substation land.

3 Forest area and Nos. of trees. Pvt land measuring 2-47-42 hectare (2.4742 ha) or24742 sq meter has been acquired for the construction of substation and no tree is required to be felled for the construction of substation.

A4. Other measures: I 220/66/22 kV Pooling Station at Bhoktoo

During 2014 the landslide occurred due to flash flood at Bhoktoo.The site needed stabilization.The experts from IIT Roorkee were invited to suggest the measures forstabilization of site. The site was stabilized under the guidance of experts of IIT Roorkee.

II(a) 220kV/400 kV Pooling Station Gumma To stabilize the land from road side to avoid any land slide the retaining walls have been

constructed. The selection of land for the construction of substation is such thatshort distance transmission lines are being constructed involving minimum area of land for evacuation of power.

(b) 400 kV D/C Transmission Line from 220/400kV Pooling Station Gumma to LILO Point on 400 kV Jhakri-Abdullapur D/C Line of PGCIL near Ghunda.

Land handed over by HPSEBL after obtaining all clearances.

HPSEBL has taken this land after completing mandatory process of depositing charges towards compensatory afforestation.

Nil No local path traverse through this patch hence no damage of local path is involved.

II(a) 220kV/400 kV Pooling Station Gumma 1 Muck disposal As per layout of the substation 22 thousand cubic

meter muck shall be used in back filling for remaining quantity of muck i.e 32,000 Cum shall be disposed on the land identified by HPPTCL.Thetotal quantity of muck whichhas been estimated 50000-Cum. How much is balance after filling land area. The agreement with land owner is in process

has been prepared, however the project will be implemented in line with R&R policy of HPPTCL and ADB.

II(a) 220kV/400 kV Pooling Station Gumma No habitation and public is being affected due to this activity. Therefore, no R&R plan

has been prepared, however the project will be implemented in line with R&R policy of HPPTCL and ADB.

II(b) 400 kV D/C Transmission Line from 220/400kV Pooling Station Gumma to LILO Point on 400 kV Jhakri-Abdullapur D/C Line of PGCIL near Ghunda.

No habitation and public will be affected due to this activity. However, this will be finalised during detailed design. Therefore no R&R plan has been prepared, however the project will be implemented in line with R&R policy of HPPTCL and ADB.
