A medium shot is used here as it Cleary shows she has a gun. This shows she has power over everyone in the room and that her character in the film has a strong personality due to her posture and her having a gun

A medium close up is used here as it shows the actor’s hand are up in surrender. As this is the intro, it shows Leo’s character is a criminal as he has his hand held up.
