Inauguration of new Clock Tower in Duliajan on 14th February 2020

We are glad to inform you that the new Clock Tower of Duliajan Town was inaugurated in a special

ceremony by Shri Pranjit Deka, Resident Chief Executive – OIL Duliajan, on 14th February 2020. The

ceremony was attended by Senior Officials of OIL, OIL Indians and the general public. The Clock Tower

along with the X Mass Tree symbolizes the story of OIL, deeply rooted to the incredible saga of Oil

exploration in India and salute the sacrifices made by the pioneering Oil explores who have laid the

foundation of an industry that has stood the test of time and contributing sustainably for the

development of all stakeholders.

This Clock Tower will not only add to the grandeur of OIL Township in Duliajan but will also be a major

landmark of Duliajan Town. It will keep reminding all inhabitants of Duliajan Town along with all OIL

Indians about the importance of this priceless resource – Time.
