SENIOR SPORTS UNIFORM

All Year Round• Inaburra navy sport shorts (unisex)• Inaburra sports polo shirt (unisex)• Inaburra white sports socks (unisex) • Inaburra school cap• Inaburra sports tracksuit (unisex) comprising a zip-up track

jacket and track pants (optional). Navy jumper or vest is allowed to be worn under the tracksuit jacket.

INABURRA UNIFORM SHOPInaburra’s Uniform Shop is the only supplier of the School’s official uniform, offering a full range of apparel, school bags and accessories. Inaburra School is proud of its uniform, and expects it to be worn correctly at all times. The Uniform Shop is located at 21 Bodalla Crescent, Bangor opposite the rear entrance of the school. HOW TO WEAR THE SENIOR UNIFORM

SCHOOL BLAZER (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday*)Each student must own their own blazer. Blazers will be compulsory throughout the school year at specific events including, but not limited to, formal assemblies, school photographs, when representing the school and some excursions. Students will be advised beforehand when blazers are required. Blazers are the outer garment of choice when it is cold and may be worn over a jumper or vest.

JUMPERS and VESTS School jumpers and vests may only be worn as the outer garment during school hours. They cannot be worn as the outer garment travelling to and from school.

SPORTS UNIFORM (Tuesday*) Students must wear the Inaburra branded sports polo shirt, sports shorts and sports socks (all items are unisex). Sports shorts must be the correct length – between the mid-thigh and the knee. For cooler weather there is also an optional unisex sports tracksuit which can be worn all year round. The tracksuit top must be worn to and from school rather than a jumper or vest. The tracksuit may be worn over the sports shorts and polo and taken off during the day. The sports tracksuit jacket and pants can be worn as separates.

*Full sports uniform is to be worn on days when students have a practical PDHPE lessons.

LENGTH OF GIRLS’ SKIRT/CULOTTES/ SHORTS Girls’ skirts, culottes and shorts must be knee length, i.e. touch somewhere on their knee. Girls are not to roll the waistband of their skirt, culottes or shorts to shorten the overall length.

GIRLS’ BLOUSE TOP BUTTON Senior girls’ blouses have a navy top feature button. This button needs to be worn closed.

BOYS’ CHARCOAL GREY TROUSERSSenior boys must own a pair of trousers. Trousers will be compulsory throughout the school year at specific events including, but not limited to, formal assemblies, school photographs, when representing the school and some excursions. Students will be advised beforehand when trousers are required.

PERSONAL APPEARANCE

GIRLS’ HAIR• Must be completely tied up or back with a navy, white or yellow

ribbon if longer than above shoulder• Avoid extremes of hair style• The fringe should be above the eyebrows• Should be a natural colour• Should be neat and tidy at all times

BOYS’ HAIR• Should be uniform in length – students may wear their hair short

or long (if suitably tied back), but not a combination of both • Avoid extremes of hair style• The fringe should be above the eyebrows• Should be a natural colour• Should be neat and tidy at all times

GIRLS’ JEWELLERYOnly the following are allowed:• One watch• One small, plain pair of stud/sleeper earrings no more than 4mm

in size to be worn in the ear lobe only

BOYS’ SHIRTS• Must be tucked in• The top button must be done up and

the tie straight and neat

MAKEUP - No makeup is allowed to be worn at school. This includes nail polish.

FOOTWEAR

SCHOOL SHOES (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)• Must be shiny, plain, black, polished, lace-up, leather shoes• No suede shoes• No boots, jogger style, ballet flats or Dr Martens style shoes• Must have a low heel • No raised ridge around the sides of the shoe

• No excessively bright/fluorescent colours or block colours

SOCKS • Must be standard Inaburra socks• No anklet, low-cut or ‘invisible’ socks to be worn

UNABLE TO WEAR THE UNIFORM? If a student is unable to wear the uniform due to an injury or other unforseen circumstance, they should provide a note, signed by their Parent or Caregiver, to their Home Group teacher at the beginning of the day.
