Our chapter excited to welcome
Brenda as a member. Even
before she became a member
she was already volunteering.
She not only helped judge at
the Block Kids event, but she
also was a speaker at the event
and did a fantastic job!

Liz Beyer was born and raised in San Antonio.
Although she grew up around Beyer Plumbing,
she graduated with a bachelors degree in
business. For the past 12 years she has taught
business classes and has been a high school
coach. This is her first year back in the
construction world.
She loves hanging out with her family and enjoys
playing and watching sports. Something else she
enjoys is hunting and fishing with her Dad. She is
single with two bulldogs. This past year she was
blessed by becoming an Aunt. Liz also travels eve-
ry chance she gets!
Working with her family is one of the best parts of
her job. Her work family consists of actual blood
relatives and people who have been there since
the beginning who are like family and just as
close.
She looks forward to growing and becoming more
knowledgeable in her new career. She would like to know more about the industry
and continue to push herself. It has been a big change from teaching, but is has
been a good change.
Liz is interested in becoming more involved with NAWIC and would like to help with
different events. Some that caught her eye were the Block Kids and the wreath lay-
ing. We are very excited Liz is involved!
She also sits as an associate board
member with the PHCC-San Antonio.

We had to cancel the January Lunch and Learn. With this crazy flu going
around and so many people sick, the turn out was a little light. We are
definitely continuing the Lorman Lunch and Learn and hope to see some
new faces at the next one.
The next one will be held during WIC Week on Friday, March 9th. It will
be held at Texas Air Systems. As we move closer to the date, a topic will
be selected.
