Plaintiff Trans Technologies Company (“Plaintiff”) and Hendrickson USA
L.L.C., Quest Global, Inc., and Great Dane Limited Partnership (“Defendants”)
hereby file their Joint Claim Construction Statement pursuant to L.P.R. 6.3 and this
Court’s Scheduling Order. (Dkt. No. 55 (referring to Dkt. No. 53)).

B. Disputed Claim Constructions
In Exhibit A, attached herewith, the parties identify the claim constructions
disputed between the parties at this time and the supporting intrinsic and extrinsic
evidence. In addition, for the convenience of the Court and the parties, and as a
result of representations made in the course of the meet and confer process
between counsel regarding this joint submission, the parties have agreed not to
propose constructions for the remaining terms identified in the parties’ preliminary
claim construction disclosures under LPR 6.1 and 6.2, including the terms and
constructions for which the parties could not identify a meaningful dispute at this
time.
The following Exhibits are attached and cited to in the Disputed Claim
Constructions (Exhibit A): the asserted patent, U.S. Pat. No. 7,669,465 is attached
hereto as Exhibit B; the entire prosecution history of the ’465 Patent is attached
hereto as Exhibit C; Provisional App. No. 60/652,544 is attached hereto as Exhibit
D; Plaintiff’s extrinsic evidence is attached hereto as Exhibit E; and, Defendants
have produced identified extrinsic evidence and will file such evidence to the
extent necessary in connection with claim construction briefing.

C. Anticipated Length of Time Necessary for Claim Construction Hearing
Plaintiff proposes that the Court set aside four hours for the claim
construction hearing.
Defendants anticipate that the claim construction hearing will take four to
six hours depending on whether expert testimony is presented.
D. Witnesses
Plaintiff and Defendants each propose to call one expert witness at the claim
construction hearing.
Plaintiff proposes to call Mr. Joseph W. Lehmann, currently employed as a
consultant with Aventics Corporation in the Bosch Rexroth Pneumatics division. A
summary of his opinion and his curriculum vitae are attached as Exhibit F.
Defendants propose to call Mr. Brett Muckelrath, P.E., currently employed
as a Value Analysis Engineering Lead in the Controls Division of Hendrickson
Trailer Commercial Vehicle Systems. A summary of his opinion is attached as
Exhibit G.
