» iLead 21 is a 21st Century

progressive leadership

development experience

for middle and high school

students. It combines the

best of leadership theory,

21st Century skills,and

project-based learning

to allow students opportu-

nities to embed leadership

into all aspects of

their educational

experiences and lives.

» Over the course of three

years, students learn,

practice, and develop

leadership skills that are

critical to success in our

world today. Year one

leaders, the Novice Leaders,

work together to complete

twenty specific tasks

designed to develop

beginning leadership skills.

Novice leaders also learn

the Five iLead 21 Leader-

ship Principles, and

practice each of these

principles in related

leadership tasks.
