The Han River is a major river in South Korea and crowded with many lighting art projects consuming huge amount of electricity. The Han River landscape committee wants a sustain-able lighting installation that uses less energy.

River Oscillation I noticed the oscillating movement of river flow and looked for mechanism to draw electricity from it.

As a part of Masdar Projects, we were asked to design the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Companys headquarter building. The biggest challenge was that the building must rely entirely on solar energy and other renewable energy sources.

In prototyping methods class, we learn multiple prototyping methods through doing. I looked into possible crowd sourced mobile platform for sus-tainable cleaning methods and produced various types of prototypes.

How do we expand knowledge in green cleaning

COMMUNITY Leveraging NetworksMobile social networks and communication technologies are enabling people to share information/feed back real-time. The availability of instant access to pool of information and advice from peers will transform regular shopping/cleaning activities into more social experience and will help users make more informed decision about their actions.Furthermore, adequate rewards will encourage regular users to utilize the service.

Drown Polar BearsWith this provocative prototype, I conducted interactive user re-search to identify general percep-tion on green/sustainable clean-ing. Each participants was given 6 graphic representations of clean-ing methods and asked to pick two most preferred ones. Then chosen methods were hung on polar bears on the iceberg module which iceberg potion reacts to the weight of participants selections.Based on the impact on environ-ment each selection has different weight and it can change the fate of polar bears...
