FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY CLASS BEGINS IN JANUARY! Millions of people have gone through Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University (FPU) and learned God’s ways of handling money. They’ve worked a plan, rewritten their stories, and changed their futures—On average, FPU gradu-ates pay off $5,300 in debt and save $2,700 in only the first 90 days! FPU consists of a nine-week video curriculum taught by financial expert Dave Ramsey, and it incorporates small group discussions that help encourage accountability and discipleship. Groups meet once a week for 90 minutes, and the course is just as fun as it is practical! Classes will meet at Madison UMC on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. beginning January 10. Class size is limited to 30 participants. To sign up, contact Lori Blount at [email protected].

Please join us each Sunday in December At the 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. services For this special Advent sermon series:

CHECK-IN GUIDELINES FOR ALL CHILDREN

Your child’s safety is of the utmost importance to us. We strive to provide a safe environment for your children. Our volunteers and staff members complete a background check and training to ensure your child’s safety. ALL children, Infants through 6th grade, will have to be checked in by a parent or guardian.

Infants, Crawlers, Toddlers, Younger 2’s and Older 2’s will be checked in at the Nursery Check-In located off the East Hall outside our Sanctuary. There will no longer be any access to the Nursery from the outside East Door.

Three year olds – 6th graders will be checked in at our Children’s Check-In Desk located in the new Atrium. This will be the only entry point to the Children’s Hall. There will be no entrance from the upstairs hall or through the exterior north door .

Upon arrival, someone at our Check-In Desks will walk you through the process of registering your children in our ministry. Each week when you are checked in using our computerized check in system, you will be given a randomly generat-ed security code assigned only to your family. This code changes weekly. The code will print on a name tag for each child and one will be printed for you, the parent or guardian. This tag will also include any medical notes, such as allergies, that your child may have so all volunteers will be aware. That tag must be presented in order to pick up your child. Please note we do not allow elementary age children to check in or pick up their siblings.
