IF YOU RECALL MANY YEARS AGO MY SISTER, MY FRIEND ELSIE, AND I JOINED YOU FOR LUNCH IN SANTA BARBARA.. IT WAS A FUN DAY.. LOTS OF LAUGHS, ESPECIALLY WHEN WE WENT OUTSIDE AND PRETENDED WE WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF A EARTHQUAKE.. IT WAS SO FUNNY HOW WE ALL BOUNCED AROUND ON THE LAWN LIKE A BUNCH OF KIDS..

I remember one time working at the Hero House, Vinnie was looking for something - a big spoon or knife or something, and he was a little bent about not finding it. Exasperated, he said loudly something like, "Who took the (such-and-such) and where did they put it?" Not missing a beat, Jean, in the most innocent voice and with wide eyes said, "Oh, I'm sorry - I ate it." We all fell apart laughing and Vinnie's mood evaporated. Don't recall if he ever found it, by the way!
