10Emergency Protection Order & Protection OrderWhat if Someone Does Not Follow an Order?
The PAFVA makes it illegal to not follow an order. If convicted of breaking an order, preventing someone from performing part of an order, or publishing information not allowed under the Act, a person could face a fine up to $10,000 and six months in jail.
