The CL9885 tip cleaning stand is designed to be able to be used right next to the work. Its selfweight and nonslip feet allow it to be totally freestanding. OPTIONAL ITEMS CL0236 Tip wiper Tapping and wiping: Very soft and temperature resistant receptacle allows tapping and wiping of the tip to eliminate excess solder. CL6205 Inox wool A more agressive cleaning method than brass wool. CL6220 Brushes For more indepth cleaning of the tips, tweezers & desoldering irons. TT-A Tip tinner Chemical system to clean and rettin the tip at the same time. S0354 Sponge To substitute the metal wool or to help the final cleaning. CL6210 Brass wool Very effective cleaning method. Leaves a small layer of solder on the tip preventing oxidation between cleaning and rewetting. Hood Contains metal wool or wet sponge and minimises splashing of solder particles. CARTRIDGES QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE TIME TO REACH 350º C / 662º F PROCESS FOR 3 SOLDER JOINTS The above graph compares responsiveness of JBC Stations to others. JBC Stations can reach 350ºC (662º F) in only two seconds, while others need between 10 and 90 seconds. This graph compares temperature recovery of JBC Stations and others. JBC Stations only drop 30º C (86º F) where others drop as much as 70º C (158ºF). JBC 350º C 662º F 20º C 68º F Others 0 2 4 6 8 10 12 sec. JBC Dif.30º C/86º F Dif.70º C 158º F 350º C 662º F 320º C 608º F 280º C 536º F Other brands 0 2 4 6 8 10 12 sec. JBC’s exclusive heating system generates high power with a small-size heater. The result is both a minimum of heated mass and a minimum of thermal inertia. The system features an extremely sensitive temperature sensor integrated in the heating element allowing immediate temperature recovery and a very good accuracy of temperature. ERGONOMICS AND USABILITY: LOWER OWNERSHIP COST. CARTRIDGES LAST UP TO FIVE TIMES LONGER: JBC soldering irons are currently the lightest, smallest and most ergonomic handpieces in the market. The short tip-to-hand distance results in more precise and accurate work. Leaving the iron in the stand, the temperature drops to 220º C (428º F), and is back at working temperature a second after taking the iron from the stand. This sleep temperature provides an extended tip life up to 5 times longer than any other conventional tip.
