I am interested in the workshop mainly because of the open-sourcephilosophy of the Arduino hardware and Processing software. They seemto empower 'normal' people (if there is such a thing) to get on withdeveloping and prototyping ideas rapidly. The varied home-grownprojects I have seen online, are all stimulating get-on and have a goprojects. And although I know this is hardly new technology (Basicstamps have been around for years), I really like the accessibility ofthe Arduino philosophy.

A philosophy

I am a total beginner

I make a living out of using Arduino in my work

I make and sell my own boards

I use Arduino as part of my final project
