The Stump, Choss-o-Licious. In a 17-hour round-trip from base cam p on May 30 and 31, Joe Johnson, Steven Lucarelli, and I established this incredibly fine, choss-infested route. It basically starts on the southeast buttress of The Stum p, atop a large scree slope to the left o f black water streaks coming off the W isdom Tooth, and 100 yards east o f Game Boy. O ur 10-pitch route con­sisted o f several easy ascending traverses, a few good lines o f beautiful solid rock, and a couple o f difficult pitches m ade o f choss.
