The remains of a small town wiped out by an ancient flood which may have resulted in the story of Noah have been found at the bottom of the black sea.

Robert Ballard, famous for finding the Titanic, found a wooden building just over 300 feet down off the coast of turkey.

In 1999, his team found proof a flood over whelmed the region some 6-8000 years ago. They found a submerged shoreline and flat beach.

The time and location correspond with the Old Testament account of Noah's ark.
