Improving my movie poster

After I got feedback I made changes to my movie poster

BBF rating

I made my film a 12A because I didn’t want to make it too scary that people would want to see it but also because they wouldn’t be any sex scenes or drugs etc. just violence. Also because the girl, Gemma, is 16 so I think that 12A is suitable for a target audience. Also it allows parents to know that there kids can watch the film and it not be based around drugs and sex.

I made the image brighter which I think looks a lot better because you can see the eyes and more of the face.

I edited the eyes and make them seem red; one, to make them stand out more and two, because red is the colour for danger so I wanted to get that across. Also because the text is red and I think it will go well together.

I was going to use this like I had with the last image but then it faded the eyes and you couldn’t see them anymore.

The feedback also said that the text was too bold and was too girly which I agreed with. I had a problem with this also in my movie trailer with getting the right font also.

Choosing fonts

I went through multiple fonts and made them red also. I liked the Candy Buzz BTN font and tried it on the poster with the ‘blood’ and it seemed too work, so I made all the text the same font.
