I don't have first class in my

Graduation. Can I apply ?

Ofcourse you can. Graduation in

any discipline from a recognized

University is enough to apply for

SBI POs. There is no extra

percentage required.

I am in my final year of

Graduation. Can I apply for this

post ?

Yes you can. In the first page of the

notification itself they have clearly

mentioned that "The candidates

who are in the Final year of their

Graduation/Semester may also

apply provisionally subject to the

condition that, if called for

interview, they will have to produce

proof of having passed the

graduation examination on or

before 10.08.2014". That means,

final year graduates can also apply.

But the condition is, you should

clear your exam by 10th August

2014.

Note : You should choose the

option "Appearing / Appeared".

marks they will make a final merit

list out of 100 for each category.

From these lists, they will pick the

candidates according to vacancies.

other banking jobs ?

Because this is the best banking job

when you compare with other

nationalized banks (By keeping the

Job Security, Salary and Allowances

in mind).

How much salary can I get as

SBI PO ?

Basic salary is Rs. 16,900/-. You

will get HRA, DA, CCA, News Paper

and Entertainment Allowenses.

Including all these you will get

around Rs. 35,000 in hand as initial

salary. Apart from these you will

get best medical, home, transport

and personal loan facilities.

What is the career graph as SBI

PO ?

With hard work and dedication you

can easily reach the top in very less

time span. All the selected

candidates have to serve as

Probationary Officers in any SBI

branch for 2 years. Based on your

performance during these 2 years,

you will be promoted as Grade 2

officers. Or else you have to satisfy

with Grade 1. SBI has a number of

branches in various countries. So

For Data Interpretation you

can refer Kiran prakashan's

books. SS Gulati & Dilshan's

books are also useful to

learn Aptitude basics.

For High Level Reasoning

you can refer M.K. Pandey,

B.S. Sijwali and any other

Banking, GMAT or CAT

materials.

SBI PO is better than RBI

Clerks. RBI Officers is

better among the three.

But getting into RBI is not

an easy task. Posts will be

very low and the selection

process is also very long.

Once you get into RBI then

the growth opportunities

are very good when

compared to SBI.

because B.Tech. is not a science

discipline. if B.Tech. comes

Difference between a B.Sc.

no difference from B.Sc

and B.Tech / B.E. They will

be considered as Science

students. According to us

(Bank people) there are

only 3 categories...

1. Non Maths (Arts)

2. Maths (B.Sc, BE and

B.Tech)

3. Commerce (B.Com)

Those people who doesn't

belong to above categories

comes under Other

categories.

A, B, C, D, E, G, and I are seven

friends who study in three

different standards,

namely 5th, 6th, and 7th, such

that not less than two friends

study in the same standard.

unless and until you have

your marks sheets with you

switched to SBH. It dint

Today i went to pay my

challan payment in SBI and

the lady said it is very hard

for women to work there as

PO.Stating that their

branch manager is also a

woman only 28 married,





woman only 28 married,

have a kid ,leaving home

very late everyday and

forgets her family often

due to grilling work load

and transfer over different

states in the country for

posting as well as

training.It is a known fact

that when you move higher

and higher in the ladder of

getting a good post in a

bank, you have to giveup

some routine peaceful life

with husband and

kids.Only two aspects

striking on every one's

mind.(1)If we choose PO,we

have to spend more time in

the office and very less

time with the family.But

with quite more salary and

respect(who cares).(2).If we

choose clerk we will find

ample time with family and

respectable salary. If you

definitely want to become a

PO,then go for IBPS

PO.Every job is depend

upon one's own mind set.

transfers in SBI PO when

compared to other

Nationalized bank's PO. It's

very difficult to get posted

nearby hometown even for

female personnel.

If one is ready to relocate

anywhere in India at

anytime , then one can go

for SBI PO. PO can't able to

leave the branch until

atleast 7 p.m and I have

seen it in a SBI branch

nearby my area.

Bengal due to m father's job. In

fact we also have a voter's ID

made from West Bengal. But

due to my studies I have been

staying in Delhi for 3 years now.

Which means Delhi will be my

SBI exam center. But what about

my permanent address ? what

sud I write Assam or West

Bengal... And if by chance called

for interview do I be required to

furnish any other certificates

beside ST certificate.. to prove

my reservation, because tribal

certificate will get issued from

Assam only. Will mentioning

West Bengal posed any problem

otherwise its ok.. and if u

procedure.I heard lot of
