Most want to go to college
Those that don’t still want to go to college
Most are not ready for college
• Most if not all students will pursue Senior High School with the intention of preparing for college– Academic Tracks are the most relevant for SHS– SHS will be seen (and therefore must be positioned as) college
preparatory schools• Other tracks with no clear college course will be less
important– There are confusing areas like HRM
• SHS must be used to strengthen the basic competencies for college (to eliminate general education as we know it) and the world of work =>expand their options even if they don’t know it
• I believe after SHS those who intended to pursue college will still pursue college (even if they are now better prepared for work)
