CICLOS DA FLORESTA PLANTADA

1a. Floresta – na primeira metade do século passado com introdução de espécies de rápido crescimento como alternativa ao uso dos recursos de florestas nativas. Criação de banco de material genético com utilização industrial limitada. Pequenos espaços geográficos ocupados.

2a. Floresta – na década de 70 com a plantação extensiva de pinus e eucalipto no Brasil para uso industrial. Política de incentivos fiscais a médios e grandes empreendimentos.

3a. Floresta – nos fins da década de 80 na reforma de áreas plantadas anteriormente, com material genético, clonal, híbridos de eucaliptos e inicio da propagação vegetativa. Multiuso da floresta se inicia substituindo a madeira nativa.

4a. Floresta – situação atual, com introdução da biotecnologia, expressivo aumento da produtividade, retorno econômico permite universalização de oportunidades para pequenos, médios e grandes empreendedores florestais. Inserção da variável desenvolvimento sustentável. Amplia espaço geográfico substituindo pecuária extensiva e em consorcio com áreas agrícolas marginais.

5a.Floresta – na próxima década será afetada pelos avanços da genética, mudanças climáticas, avanço da preservação e conservação. Aumento da área com uso inteligente do espaço geográfico.

Conclusions

• The constrution of Eucalyptus productivity scenarios is necessary for:

•for to know the effects of climate change on forest growth;

•decision management;

•to locate site more appropriate for Eucalyptus production.
