(Reporter One shuffles paper on desk)

As dawn broke over England, daylight gave a glimpse of what is happening. The evidence that lies here will leave lives

changed ever changed.

 

Scene Two, Reporter Two:

Ext. Church. Day

As you can see behind me, events are currently unfolding as we speak. People are remaining in their homes, too afraid to

venture outdoors.

Scene Three, Reporter Three:

Int. News room #2. Day

We are aware that an epidemic has broken out, and the government are doing everything they can to ensure your

safety. 999 services will be unavailable as of now.

 

Scene Four, Reporter Four:

Ext. Seaside. Day

Police and authorities have advised you stay indoors, ensuring that everyone is safe and well. Public places are

no longer safe.

 

Scene Five, 4 Frame Montage:

All: Trust no one; save yourself.

Scene Six, Bus Station Attacks:

Ext. Bus Station. Dusk

(CCTV footage of bus station being ‘overrun’ with zombies. Zombies shown eating from a pram.)

Zombie One (Eating from pram)

Scene Seven, Beauty Salon:

Int. Beauty Salon. Day

(Zombies banging on windows, trying to break in to reach survivors)

Zombie 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8(Seen at the window banging and trying to enter and reach victims)

 

[JUMP CUT]

 

Scene Eight, Park:

Ext. Park. Dusk

(Zombie children are seen and identify uninfected children. Uninfected children playing on swings. Zombie children suddenly sprint towards uninfected children and begin attacking and eating them.)

(Screams are heard along with squeaking of the swings. Fast paced footsteps from the children.)

Scene Nine, Shopping Centre:

Int. Shopping Centre. Day

(Eight zombies attacking and chasing three victim shoppers)

(Screams from the victim shoppers are heard along with fast paced footsteps and the dropping of bags. Heavy breathing.)

[PANNING FROM TV SCREEN ONTO SISTERS]

 

Scene Ten, Sisters:

Int. Front Room. Night

(APRIL is braiding VICKI’S hair)

(TV begins to give off static noise as signal cuts out)

(CAMERA MOVES TO COVER BOTH GIRLS AND HAS IN THE LEFT SIDE THE GLIMPSE OF THE DOOR, ZOMBIES BANGING, INCONSISTENTLY. EACH TIME THE DOOR BANGS THE CAMERA GO TO A CANTED ANGLE THEN LEVELS THEN BACK TO CANTED E.C.T.)

(CAMERA ZOOMS INTO TWO SISTERS FACES TO CREATE A CLOSE UP SHOT. SCREEN BECOMES SPLIT BETWEEN THE APRIL AND VICKI)

(APRIL and VICKI stare at screen)

(THE STATIC NOISE FROM THE TV STOPS AND THE ROOM FALLS SILENT. GRADUALLY WE SEE APRIL’S FACE FADE AND VICKI’S FACE BECOMES FULL SCREEN. WE HEAR HEAVY BREATHING AS VICKI’S FACE FLICKERS BETWEEN NORMALITY AND ZOMBIE.)
