Q: How can this help manage my chronic pain? Q: Am I eligible to be a research participant? • Interact with computer multimedia experiences at home for: 30 min/day, 6 days/week, 4 weeks • Complete simple daily and weekly surveys to monitor your experience • An honorarium will be provided for your time These experiences may help reduce chronic pain by altering pain signal pathways in the brain. Similar multimedia experiences have been shown to benefit individuals with acute pain. • Age 16 or older • Past or current medical diagnosis of cancer • Past or current treatment with standard cancer therapies • Currently an outpatient • Chronic pain: ongoing daily pain (moderate or severe) min 3 months • Have a normal stereoscopic (binocular) vision • Able to easily move our head up, down, left, right, and wear a headset • Have fine motor control in one hand to operate a joystick/controller • Have space at home for a computer and monitor Immersive Multimedia Experiences for Cancer Patients with Chronic Pain RESEARCH PARTICIPANTS NEEDED Recruitment Poster Version 6.1; July 3, 2019
