Dear IHM Families,
This week I hired a new Elementary Spanish Teacher. She is a
current IHM parent of three children, Olivia, (8th) Nickolas (6th)
and Ava (1st) Please welcome Mrs. Jill Johnson, to the IHM Fac-
ulty! She will be starting her classes at the start of the 2nd Tri-
mester which is December 9th.
I want to congratulate all of our Students of the Month for
September and October! Their names are listed in the newsletter!
Thank you to the parents of these children, you should be so proud
of these fine young men and women!
In the newsletter you will see a poster for an EITC webinar.
This is a great way for families that own business to designate
their tax money to IHM. This money is given directly to the school
which is used for financial aide. Please take the time to attend the
webinar to find our more about this program.
On Friday November 22nd, we will have a Dress Down Day.
Students will pay $1.00. All of the money raised will go towards the
Spring Play which is “The Wizard of Oz!”
Give it Your Best!

T
his has been a busy week for Home and School. Our top 5 logo contest winners
have been selected. Their logos are on display in the hallway and student voting
closed today, 11/15. We will announce the winners next week and present them
with their prizes. The Couch Tomato fundraiser was a delicious success. We will
have another IHM at The Couch Tomato day on Thursday, 12/12. The Yankee
Candle orders have been delivered and the final pickup date is this Sunday
(11/17) from 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm. If haven’t picked up your order and can’t make it
on Sunday, please email [email protected] to make arrangements.
The Christmas Bazaar is one week away! Thanks to a group of fantastic volun-
teers, the raffle baskets are looking outstanding. There are some really great
raffles that we know you’ll love. Here is a sample: AirPods, a hoverboard, free registration for 1 child, Nintendo Switch, Ring doorbell, Blink security camera, Phillies tickets and meal at Pass and Stow for 4, VSCO basket, loads of gift cards for restaurants, events, and services.
We still need quite a few volunteers for next Saturday. If you haven’t already,
please sign up to volunteer for the Christmas Bazaar. Grandparents, aunts, un-
cles, friends and older siblings or cousins are more than welcome. This is a great
opportunity for older students to earn community service hours. Please sign up to
volunteer using this link:

In other Christmas Bazaar news, we are continuing the tradition of asking fami-
lies (and friends) to donate a “bottle of cheer” or homemade baked goods. Our
drop off date will be November 22nd. Someone from the Bazaar Committee will
be on hand from 3-8pm to take donations. If you are not available on November
22nd but want to contribute, please email [email protected] to
make drop-off arrangements. Please be sure to sign off that you donated! As a
thank you, all students whose families donate will be treated to a free ice cream
to use during school lunch.
Our first holiday recipe was suggested by Sabrina and comes from Delish https://www.delish.com/cooking/recipe-ideas/a22553444/homemade-fresh-cranberry-relish-recipe/ Alison’s pie recipe is a family favorite that her Mom-Mom made every Thanksgiving; Fish Market Apple Pie https://www.cooks.com/recipe/xy8z073d/fish-market-apple-pie.html
