IME
XIMEX is a full-featured three-phase, four-component black oilreservoir simulator for modelling primary depletion andsecondary recovery processes in conventional oil and gasreservoirs. IMEX also models pseudo-miscible and polymerinjection in conventional oil reservoirs, and primary depletionof gas condensate reservoirs, as well as the behavior ofnaturally or hydraulically fractured reservoirs
IMEX has the capabilities and features required for small to massive (100+million grid block) simulations for screening prospects, setting up pilotdesigns, monitoring and optimizing field operations, and complex full-field reservoir studies, all with the objective of improving productionrates, ultimate recovery and value. The coupling of IMEX to surfacepipeline network simulators provides a very effective solution foroptimizing production from multi-field offshore developments or fromlarge gas fields in which surface flowline constraints can affect reservoirperformance and project economics.
