Born in Pakistan and lived mostly in the historical city of
Lahore and the capital Islamabad.
Finished my BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore in 2003.
Got selected to work for Pakistan's largest oil and gas E&P company, the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited in 2004.
Experience in tendering and documentation of equipment (generators, pumps, compressors, cranes, fire trucks, fork lift trucks) and services as well as in maintenance and inspection.
Projects I have worked on:
Design and hydraulic analysis of well head systems,
flow lines and basic surface facilities as per standard
practices. This includes procurement and installation
of:• Piping (ASTM B31.6)
• Pipelines (ASTM B31.8)
• Valves and fittings (API6D)
• Separators (ASME sec. VIII)
• Pumps (API 610)
• Compressors (API 11P)
Designed and coordinated construction of crude
storage tanks (API 650).
Design and construction of Fire Safety Systems on
field locations including preparing specifications for
pumps (NFPA 20) and fire-fighting vehicles
(NFPA1901).
Worked on production optimization projects
involving re-designs of gas gathering systems and
modification of gas pipelines.
Earned a full scholarship from the Norwegian State in 2008 to study MSc. In Petroleum Engineering from NTNU. My specialization is in Reservoir Technology. I graduated in 2010.
As a Petroleum Engineer I worked on:• Production network and facility
visualization • Production data analysis • Field development studies • Economic analysis of oil and gas fields• Providing technical input in General Sales
Agreements (GSAs)
Worked on upstream network optimization, production surveillance and forecasting using “SimSci-Esscor Pipephase and Pro/II flow modeling simulators” and “Schlumberger Oil Field Manager (OFM)” for: • Field planning and asset management
studies• Optimizing oil and gas gathering networks• Natural gas network distribution modeling• IPR and tubing performance analysis • Production surface facilities design based
on pressure and volume flow calculations
I have worked as a campaign worker for Amnesty International Norway in the campaign to raise awareness about violence against women. I was also working in sales to recruit paying members for Amnesty Norge.
• I am active and out going. I was president of the Pakistan Students Association In Trondheim.
• I am an avid amateur photographer.
