John 10:10

We’re engaging in one of the most exciting and challenging times we’ve ever known as a church. What was merely a dream in our hearts years ago is now becoming a reality! II remember when we wrote down some of the irst thoughts God gave us about the core values of the church… We envisioned the two intersecting lines that make the shape of a cross. It was on those two lines that God’s Son was cruciied, as He paid the sacriicial price of freedom for each of us. Those same lines became a visual reference for us and continue to serve as the heart and passion of Christian Life today! InIn other words think of the “cross” image as two different axis, horizontal and vertical. On the horizontal, God has called us to care for one another while at the same time being missions focused and reaching out to a broken and dying world. On the vertical, He asks us to be people whose foundation is grounded in the Word of God, while also passionately, whole-heartedly, pursing His presence and the move of His Spirit in our lives. When we live at the center of these two axis (loving God and loving people) we strategically position ourselves to impact our city and surrounding area for the cause of Christ.cause of Christ. Impacting our city, nation, and world is a big objective and isn’t something Suzanne and I can do alone. We need your help and we’re asking you to partner with us in this journey. We fully believe that if we all engage with the vision God has given our church, we’ll see those early dreams He placed in our hearts become the reality we live in tomorrow. Thank you for joining us in this adventure. It’s going to be fun!

Dennis & SuzanneWith much love and appreciation,

Ephesians 4:11-12

Building community speaks of both doing life together, as well as expanding facilities to accomodate what God is doing through the church.

WeWe are currently in negotiations for possible building options and we know that God has someplace specific already chosen for our new church home. May He show Himself powerful in what He provides.

FacilitiesEach one of us has been designed and created purposefully and intentionally by God. For you to become all God has designed you to be, it becomes key that you get the discipleship, coaching, preaching, teaching, and mentoring you need.

ItIt is important to us that we facilitate you and your family with the very best people and resources to ensure our vitality as a growing church family.

the journey aheadPsalm 127:1 John 3:16

We believe God has called us to go into the nations and make disciples. Through a portion of this campaign we will be able to offer additional missions trips each year as well as supporting our existing and future missionaries. This includes trips not only on foreign soil, but right here in the USA as well.

10%10% of what is collected through the Imagine Life initiative will be designated to this effort.

God has used being at Christian Life to completely change me from a shy little girl to a confident outgoing minister of the faith! The love and acceptance from the members of the Christian Life body of believers has encouraged me to be all that God has for me. I am looking forward to the new building so that we can have a bigger stage, a sound booth, and one service!

Appreciated PropertyYouYou can donate real property (vacant land or a vacation home/property). If you have owned the property for more than one year, by donating it to Christian Life you would receive a tax deduction for the full fair market value of the property. If you have rental or income property that you have owned for sometime, you may have depreciated it to a very low tax basis, meaning a substantial capital gain if you were to sell. By donating it, you will both avoid the capital gains tax and receive donating it, you will both avoid the capital gains tax and receive a tax deduction for the full fair market value.

Personal PropertySome of us may be willing to give our personal possessions: precious metals, jewels/jewelry, valuable collections (e.g. coins, stamps, baseball cards), art, or recreational vehicles. As above, not only would your gift be of value to the campaign, it would also provide you with a fair market value tax deduction.

Investment SecuritiesItIt may be that you decide to use appreciated stock bonds, mutual funds or other investment securities. This will also provide a win-win, as Christian Life obtains a valued “liquid” offering and you receive a deduction for the fair market value of the security at the date of the gift, as well as avoid any potential capital gains from the sale of that security.

Practice Priority BudgetingMany families will choose to rearrange their priorities and give up something discretionary in their current budget in order to give more for this effort.

Increased Giving With Income IncreasesSomeSome people receive periodic increases in their salary or earnings. The temptation for many of us is to increase our lifestyle to it the higher income. Families can instead decide to commit the full amount of an income increase for a planned time period of giving, such as the Imagine Life campaign.

Giving From Your ExcessOften,Often, families save money over a period of time for a special project. It might be extra reserves for a vacation property, recreational vehicle, a special trip, or another family goal. By saying “later” to their own goal, they can say “now” to help Imagine Life’s vision become a reality.

Commit Unexpected Cash/GiftsPeoplePeople often pray for God to show them a way they can give beyond what they presently see or can afford. Sometimes the answers come unexpectedly and the blessing can be added to the commitment from their regular income. This might be from a year-end bonus or an inheritance.

| CREATIVE WAYS TO GIVE

Charitable Remainder TrustAnotherAnother way for some to support Imagine Life is with appreciated assets (real estate, securities) through a Charitable Remainder Trust (CRT). This special type of trust allows you to receive lifetime income, even though you’ve made a signiicant gift to the church. There also are signiicant tax advantages to this type of trust.

Give Your Extra TimeGive Your Extra TimeGive Your Extra TimeSome family members have extra time they would be willing to use for a part-time job in order to increase their gift. This is particularly true for those whose families are grown and away from home, or for retired and semi-retired individuals.

PleasePlease Note: Gifts of real and/or personal property should be discussed in advance with our church ofice to determine if they can be accepted. In some cases, it is better for the donor to sell the property and then gift the proceeds.

If you need or desire assistance with a planned gift to the stewardship campaign, Randy Webb is available for any questions.

Contribution from your IRAMany people have amassed a sizable IRA that may not be necessary for immediate use. If you are over the age of 59, you may withdraw a portion of your contribution without paying any penalty and the amount given may help offset the taxable income portion of that withdrawal.

Increased Giving With Increased Fixed IncomeIncreased Giving With Increased Fixed IncomeManyMany retirees depend upon ixed income investments, for their income. In periods of luctuating interest rates, obtaining a reliable, safe income can be challenging. An alternative would be to use of a Charitable Gift Annuity (CGA). The CGA can offer generous guaranteed lifetime payments at a level above CD’s and other secure investments. Additionally, a portion of each payment is tax-free, and CGA’s offer income tax deductions, as well.well.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.

Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.

Christian Life has impacted me personally by releasing me to

minister out of my God given gifts & passions! There is NO

greater fulfillment of peace than to be entrusted and

encouraged in your call and destiny. I have been equipped and

enabled by the leadership! It has also been an honor &

privilege to be a part of a body that longs to reach the Holy

of Holies through WORSHIP each week! I am so very

humbledhumbled & indebted to approach the Chambers of my God

each Sunday, alongside my Christian Life FAMILY.

I'm looking forward to the impact that Imagine Life will have

on missions. From the team building aspect to the

preparation and focus YOU CAN'T NOT GROW or change!

Actually, that's a great question! At irst glance you might think the best way to tackle it is to break it into equal parts and ask every family to give the same amount. Looking at the average gift in the chart, that would mean each family at Christian Life would need to give aboveabove their normal tithes and offerings by $7,075 over the next 3 years. However, much like God’s call on our lives varies from person to person, so does the level of inancial provision we each walk in. Equal gifts does not mean equal giving or equal sacriice. Consider thethe widow who gave everything she had! (Luke 21:1-4) It's important that your participation level in “Imagine Life” be based on a decision you reach between you and the Lord, that way it's the “right” amount for you!

We truly believe it's God’s desire to impact and transform lives and it's so exciting that we get to be a part of it! Please speciically pray and ask the Lord what He would have you do in this effort.

So, just how muchis $750,000?

Christian Life was the vessel that God used to give me life again during a time where I was so lost and broken. I have felt so “at home” at Christian Life because of the people, the atmosphere, and the passionate heart that comes from its leaders. Without Jesus I would be nothing and without Christian Life I wouldn’t have a place to call home, and that means everything to me.

II am really looking forward to the church increasing its staffing. Part of what makes Christian Life what it is, is the people who make up the church and not the building. With more leaders, more people will be equipped to become what God wants them to be. I love the excellence of ministry at the church, and I look forward to the future of what God is up to!

Christian Life has done massive things in my life. Through this church I became connected to God and His Holy Spirit. My church family has always been there for me for both natural and spiritual needs. I am very excited about the thought of us moving into a new building because I am looking forward to the time when we can all be together in one worship service. We are really going to impact this whole area for Jesus!

This church has ministered to us in such a tangible way over these last 4 years we've been attending. During some of the greatest and worst times in our lives, the leadership and church members have poured out their love over us in ways we can never repay. We are so blessed to be in a church that doesn't just talk about “loving people”, they actually do!

We'reWe're so excited about "Imagine Life" because we both have a heart for missions and have been lucky enough to go on many trips. Seeing the doors open up for more of our church to get the life changing opportunity of serving in a missions project is awesome! We're equally excited to see our church family worshipping under the same roof at the
