76.' The amount refunded to any lodge upon relief

SUBORDINATE LODGES.

78. The officers of a lodge are the Master, the Senior

Warden, the Junior Warden, the Treasurer, the Secretary, twoDeacons, two Stewards, an Inner Guard and a Tyler, and such

other officers as- the lodge may see fit to appoint or elect.

They shall hold office until their successors shall have been

elected or appointed and installed.

79. The Master, Wardens, Treasurer, Secretar}- andTyler shall be elected annually, by ballot, and a majority of

the votes of the members present shall be necessary to elect.

80. No member shall be eligible for the position of

Master (except by special dispensation of the Grand Master)

unless he has previoi:sly filled one of the Warden's chairs.

81. The Master and other elective officers shall be in-

stalled at the next regular meeting following the election.

The Ma. cer shall then appoint and install the other officers.

82. Officers shall be installed in person, and no installa-

tion of an officer by proxy shall be permitted. If the officer

elected or appointed is not present, he shall be installed at the

first regular communication of the lodge at which he is pre-

sent; and if any officer shall neglect or refuse to attend for

installation, for two regular communications after his elec-

tion or appointment, the lodge may, by a majority vote, de-

clare his election or appointment void and revoked, andanother incmber shall l?e elected or appointed in his stead,

who shall bo installed into office in due form.

89 A lodfre of emergency may, at any time, be called. ;

90 Every lodge shall keep a book in which all visitors

attending shall, before entering the lodge, sign their names

with their masonic rank, and the name of the lodge from

which they hail.

91 The precedency of a lodge shall be derived from the

number of its warrant of constitution, as recorded in the books

of the Grand Lodge. No lodge shall be acknowledged, nor

any of its officers admitted into the Grand i^odge, nor any ot

its members entitled to partake of the general charity or other

masonic privilege, unless it has been regularly constituted and
