We’re back! When I left you last, our heiress Willow graduated college and was heading back home to keep this Legacy going forward.

As soon as Willow got home she was sent to the dresser to change. The outfit she grew up in was okay but not her. She liked eclectic clothes.

Then it was time to get Scot, her fiance to move in. He didn’t show up on her phone, but a quick finagle with the crystal ball and he was summoned to be moved in.

Seriously, if Maxis didn’t want people to fall in love and marry these sims then why in the hell are the viable well drops? Huh?

Still, he’s not a game breaking NPC so this is fine.

“Are you done talking, creator? I’d like to get this over with, you know how I am with stage fright.”

Sorry.

“I-I-I—”

“Willow, it’s fine. I know how you feel. You’re shy and a brat and you didn’t want this. I get it. Just put the ring on and we’ll go from here.”

“Thanks. So what’s next?”

“The kissing scene.”

“Ugh! Why did I ask?”

Despite Willow’s stage fright, they managed to make it through the kiss.

And then there was cake!

Scot is the first cake shover that we’ve had. It only took five generations. Something that I am pretty sure that Willow would have rather done without being the first on.

“So, grandson-in-law. What’s next for you?”

“Well I was thinking of demolishing the house and rebuilding it all kind of in preparation for my career of choice as an architect.”

“But where will we live while that’s going on?”

“Oh, good point, Wills.”

“Besides you’ve got something more important to do, Scot and Willow. You’ve got to make an heir.”

“Eep!”

“So, we’re naked… Now what?”

“Um… Why don’t we do this later?”

“Willow, you know you’ve got nothing to worry about.”

“I know. I just. I’m not sure I want a kid right now. There’s so much I want to do, become an icon, paint a masterpiece. I’m not ready.”

“It’s okay. We’ll talk about it later.”

“Thanks.”

Despite a lack of woohoo, Willow and Scot had a roof raiser.

“Grandpa, do I really need to woohoo with everyone watching?”

“That’s the great thing about being married and in the main house. Lots of chances for public woohoo!”

“I shouldn’t have asked you.”

I should point out that my ghosts don’t haunt every night. But if I have anything with a timer on it be it a date, party, or headmaster visit the ghosts will show up in full force.

Since it was wedding night we had Corbin checking in.

Along with Fantasy, who was probably quite happy that no one was in her bed at the time.

We also had the annoying cheerleader drop by, but our lone sentry bot took care of her.

“I still hate you!”

“I never doubted that, Grandma!”

“I see that want! Boo!”

“Yay! Ghost!”

“Willow, we need to have that talk now.”

“About the babies. I know. I’m just nervous. What if I’m a bad mother? What if I suck in bed?”

“Is that your real worry?”

“The sucking? Yeah. Kinda.”

“Let’s go.”

“Now?”

“Yes, now.”

“Are you sure you want to do this.”

“Willow. I love you. I married you. Of course I do. Do you want me?”

“What kind of question is that?”

“An honest one. I keep thinking that maybe you don’t want me and that’s the reason you don’t want to Woohoo.”

“That’s not it. Okay. I’m naked. Let’s do this thing!”

“Well I guess that I did that thing rather well. Although these PJs suck.”

“Grandma, Scot, I’m pregnant.”

“That’s nice.”

“So, I was wondering can we at least close the business, I don’t really like all of the strangers.”

“Sure, I’ve gotten it to level 10 anyway.”

And that was that. Eva closed the home business since it got her only 5 perks away from getting me the Capitalist master point.

After that, life moved on. Willow painted masterpieces while Scot got a job in his lifetime want career of Architect.

And when Willow wasn’t painting she was bug hunting. I want the collection.

She too was working on her lifetime want to be an Icon. I am guessing it is a good thing that Show Business is one career that doesn’t frown on the PJs to work thing.

“I’m home! Who loves me?”

“Willow, do you love me?”

“Yeah, I do. Then why don’t you show me?”

“Right now?”

“Why not? All of the rest of your family is showing that they love their partner.”

“They are?”

“Yep, your dads are outside cuddling and freaking out the walkbys.”

“Your grandparents are relaxing together. Why can’t you show me a little love?”

“Because I feel a little odd. Like a ghost just walked over my grave.”

“Ah! More like appeared through you.”

“Oh. That was the feeling. Good to know. Who was it?”

“I think your great-grandfather.”

“Granpa Corbin? That’s not very nice.”

“Tell me about it.”

“I just wanted to say hi to the newest member of the family.”

Scot wasn’t the newest member for long. Almost as if Corbin’s presence triggered it, Willow went into labor an hour later.

Everyone, including the random townie ran in to watch. Jason is there, he’s just in the corner.

Yay green skin! This lovely little lady is Beatrix Kiddo. Named after the main character in the Kill Bill movies.

And because my game is my game we have the hand off…

And we have another little greenie, Vash the Stampede. Vash is named after the main character in the anime Trigun.

So depending on genetics, either one could be heir.

“Congrats on the new baby! Boo!”

“Ack! Haven’t you scared me enough for the night?”

“No.”

“Poor baby, left on the floor. I’ll take care of you little princess.”

“So, twins.”

“Yeah. I didn’t want to dissappoint you. I know how much you want grandchildren.”

“You don’t disappoint me, Willow. I love you. And you’re going to be a great mom.”

“I hope so.”

“Why don’t you go try it out. You might find that you like it.”

“Okay.”

“I’m your Mommy, Trixie. I’m probably going to make a lot of mistakes. I hope that you’re okay with that.”

“Guh!”

“And you Vash, I love you too. It’s not going to be easy with me as a mom. I hope you don’t mind too much. I’ll try my best.”

“Don’t eat my nose, Vash! That’s not nice.”

An aside here, I love Babylon 5. I really do. He’s still rolling wants for his family and getting aspiration from them. He really is the quintessential family sim.

“Dad, what are you doing in here?”

“Getting to know about my grandchildren.”

“Oh. But you’re not old.”

“No, I’m not. But it’s never too early to start.”

“You know that at this age that all they do is eat, sleep and poop, right?”

“Not true. They can bond with people too.”

“Is this how you bonded with the five of us?”

“Yep. You want to try?”

“Sure.”

“Here, talk to Trixie, let her know how much you love her.”

“Hi baby. You’re a sweet baby. And I really hope you don’t live up to your namesake.”

“Why do you say that?”

“Do you really want your granddaughter to become the deadliest woman in the world and then end up in a coma?”

“Good point. Be a good Kiddo, Trixie.”

“Nice aspiration points there.”

“Thanks. I feel oddly fulfilled by them”

“I would too.”

“So… Now that we’re all permaplat, you know what that means?”

“We have white lit portraits?”

“Nope, business time.”

Welcome to Sucker Cake, where we sell all of the fruit and fish that we’ve managed to accumulate over the generations, so named because the only people who will buy this crap are suckers.

Eva and Babylon stood off to one side to pass along rewards and to reap in stars. The only reason we’re here is so Eva can get my the Capitalist Master Point.

Willow was the first to spot the reporter hiding behind Cyd Roseland.

And thanks to her sales savvy netted us a star, a good review, and a best of the best award.

That should keep the suckers coming in.

“Why yes, Mr Chef, we do have a crate of polebeans with your name on it.”

Eventually, I got tired of Willow not really doing anything useful for me so was substituted out and Nery took her place selling crap to friends and family alike.

Instead Willow was put to work Maxing all of her Hobbies.

Here she is working on her Film and Literature hobby.

Followed by Fitness.

You can also see the two objects I shoved on the lot to raise sports and Music and Dance – The Basketball hoop and ballet barre.

And then cooking.

The computer you see there, yeah, it is mostly useless. The most it can do is up gaming enthusiasm.

Finally she maxed science.

This one took forever frankly and along with Sports one of the most annoying things ever.

But by the time she was done, Eva had finished passing along all of the perks and Sucker cake was at level 10.

See the fruits of our labors, all of the plaques. Games is out in the mausoleum since it is the Family Hobby and the one that we have to max for our fearless handicap.

“Hmph, kids these days. Why in my day we didn’t woohoo with our spouses out where every ghost could see us. I feel the need to scare the pants off of someone.”

“You’ll do!”

“Yay ghost!”

Fantasy wasn’t the only other ghost to haunt that night, the random eaten nanny was out in full force too. First she scare Babylon 5.

Then she moved to the other side of the garage and tormented Nery.

Totally pointless slide to point out that we have another wishing well. I plan on taking one to the next business that I do, just so we can get the friends drops there.

Considering that he was the iconic hobbyist for fitness, I find it amusing that Scot wasn’t fit. That was something I quickly remedied.

As per the story teller handicap, Babylon 5 had to work on his novel. He titled it “Free-roaming Ghosts - most annoying handicap ever”

It was a best seller.

And Willow’s also hit her lifetime want. I can’t remember what she rolled next, something annoying knowing my sims but since she is perma-plat it also doesn’t matter.

That night, it was time for the twins to age up.

Semi-synchronized aging go!

Beatrix seems to follow the family tradition and ages up bald.

She is a Virgo with stats of 10/7/4/3/6.

Vash the Stampede (which yes, that is his full name in game) got hair and his father’s nose.

Vash is an Aries with stats of 4/10/8/6/7.

I took a quick look at their DNA and Vash is going to be heir. He has the pink eye recessive that goes all the way back to I.M. I would like to try to breed that back in if I can.

Trixie doesn’t seem to mind being a spare, of course she is a toddler so her wants are pretty simple and Willow got to work trying to fulfill them.

Meanwhile, Vash started to get to know his family. G’kar is still a bachelor in my game, I think he’s still waiting for the right person to come along. Either that or he’s pining over his brother’s wife Alyson. You never know.

“Isn’t that nice? Two kids so in love.”

“Yeah, it is nice. Want to go get naked in the hottub?”

“I thought you’d never ask!”

Babylon 5 being the consummate family sim rolled up the want to teach the twins their skills.

Nery also helped out, although Beatrix was very stubborn.

She seemed to really be a granpa’s girl. She’d often follow Babylon instead of Willow or Scot.

Because the baldness was getting to me, I had Babylon give her a makeover. So much cuter now.

“Man in box make me sweepy!”

“Mommy talking make me Sweepy!”

“Hello, doctor, I’ve got a kid who seems to have narcolepsy, can you help? The batbox? Well, I’ll try it. But if you’ll excuse me I’ve got a wolf to greet.”

And she did too. Ahhh Moonshine, lets hope you stick around long enough to make friends.

“I’m getting older today will you still love me when I’m old and grey?”

“I’ll love you for always, Jason.”

“Then let’s do this!”

“Woo yeah! He’s a foxy elder!”

I admit to being a bit confused as to why Jason is older than Babylon 5 but he is. It may be a plantsim thing.

A quick visit to the mirror to fix his sideburns and then it was on to the dresser to find a better outfit.

“Big bro, have you joined a cult?”

“As a matter of fact, I have?”

“And they make you wear that weird get up and shave your head?”

“No, no, no. You have it all wrong. This outfit is terribly comfortable, I think that in the future that all people will be bald and wearing beach towels.”

“You might want to have your head examined, Michael.”

“So says the man with leaves growing out of his.”

“Point.”

“So am I still sexy enough for you?”

“You always were.”

“So do you think I could interest you in a little spin around the bedroom later?”

“I might be up for that.”

“Good because I plan on showing you later just that age is just a number.”

“Why wait?”

“Good point!”

Is it any reason that I love these two?

With all of their PDA, Jason had a great birthday party although for some reason Babylon 5 got the memory.

After the party, Jason retired. We really don’t need the money and I want him around to spend time with his family.

The next day it was time for Babylon 5 to age up. So another gathering was called.

“Hmmm I think I’ll wish for a long life with my husband.”

“Oh yeah I still look good!”

The plantsim tunic really isn’t Babylon’s style so he got a quick change of clothes.

Then went out to find his sexy husband for another dance.

Unfortunately the room they chose to dance in didn’t have a sunlight and Babylon was determined to be wherever Jason was even if I didn’t want him there so he got a little sun deprived.

Unfortunately I didn’t catch it as fast as I normally do because my attention was focused elsewhere.

Moonshine had wandered on to the lot again.

Some belly rubs in gaudy glasses and Willow and he were friends.

And what’s a little nibble between friends?

“You see what I did?”

Oh yeah, Moonshine I see what you did. You made me a very happy simmer! At some point I should start keeping track of what supernaturals I have done. I am starting to lose track.

I have an admission to make, I don’t like werewolves much. Their hunger drop at night is annoying.

And the hunch bothers the crap out of me. Not to mention that there are no good default replacements for them. So I’m sorry Willow, I like you. But your wolfy side will bug me.

Being a little wolfy didn’t stop the toddler training. If anything, the wolf nurture instinct seemed to infect Willow and she was a much more hands on mother afterwards.

She seemed to enjoy spending time with her kids more.

Not that Scot didn’t get some parenting action in.

Although with Babylon 5 in the house it was sometimes a challenge.

“Mr. Bored, I’d like to teach my son to walk now if you don’t mind.”

“Nonsense! I taught him that ages ago!”

“Um, thanks.” *Unlocks want*

Beatrix is a sneaky cutie. That is all.

Since her needs don’t decay after dark anymore, Willow had more energy to hunt bugs and complete my collection.

Nery finally retired from being a professional party guest. It was fun while it lasted, but they really didn’t need the money anymore.

Meanwhile Eva finally got to work on her Novel for the storyteller point. I.M.’s novel is still floating around and Fantasy’s is at the Greek house as is Willow’s.

Another day, another birthday party. This time for the toddlers.

Trixie grew up very cute but she seemed more interested in her twin.

Who is actually a pretty good mix of his parents. Vash may have Scot’s nose but he isn’t uglacy material by any means.

“So do you like my new fur?”

“It’s so soft. I definitely think it’s a good look for you.”

“You’re just saying that because you love me.”

“Willow, you could wear a garbage bag and a manure hat and I’d still go ‘She’s the loveliest creature I’ve set my eyes on’ so kiss me and I’ll show you how much I love you.”

“You’re on!”

I think this is where I will leave you. I kind of ran long on this. But that should make up for the delay between updates. I will warn you this story will take a back seat to my new project, Vaulting Ambition, a medieval -> renaissance story based on English history from 1350 to 1600. But I will keep working on this, when I need play breaks.
